As far as premades, we have Cyber Swimmer (by cimsoc) and Abstract Arctic (by spaceshriimp) available, the latter of which just now released! They are both Uncommon!

Since Sweetheart, Rain or Shine, and Monster Hands all recieved 150 favourites (WOW), we have also released a new Legendary MYO Raffle!

I’m still working on the milestone prizes, but will hopefully get to them soon! 🤗

To celebrate one year of Shrimpshifters (plus, our updated traits), we have a new MYO Event!

Anyone, regardless of whether they own a Shrimpshifter, can join the event and recieve a Common MYO! This MYO will expire within one week—all users, regardless of when you joined the MYO, must have their design in by Aug 11, 2022. All you have to do is comment and share this post in a bulletin, and link the bulletin in your comment!

Side note, since we will be picking our Guest Artists for August during the first week of August, there will be slightly overlapping terms, since we will pick new GAs during the last week of August that will be active September 1st, but still want to give our August GAs a month-long term.

Since there was an imbalance of adding traits (fewer traits for lesser rarities), we’ve decided to revamp the trait guides and trait rarity. Many of the traits were moved down in rarity so that they were easier to obtain, and Ultra Rare traits were dropped and most moved to become Rare. Several of the old Shrimpshifters will move down in rarity. 

I have pinged the current owners of Shrimpshifters in this bulletin, and put the masterlist numbers of each Shifter next to each user, so you’ll know which ones apply. If you own multiple Shifters, you can receive multiple reimbursements.

There is a two-week window to claim one of these options, so don't put it off! These offers will end Sunday, July 10, 2022!

 If your Shrimpshifter’s rarity changes, you have three options:

• Redesign your Shrimpshifter(s) and incorporate at least one (1) trait that fits their original rarity that you would like to retain;
• If you’re happy with the original design, allow your Shrimpshifter(s) to move down in rarity and obtain a free MYO of the original rarity; or,
• Obtain a reimbursement of 5 scales (equivalent of $5 USD, and the current price of a Common MYO. This will provide you with a way to purchase a Common MYO at a later date with no expiration, and is best if you’re busy).

You have a two-week window to claim one of these options and a one-month window to either redesign your Shrimpshifter, design your MYO, or register for a bank account to receive your reimbursement of 5 scales.

GENERAL UPDATES

As far as other updates, leadership has also been transferred to me, Thea (@iinkt), since Shrimp (@spaceshriimp, the original founder) is now mostly inactive. Please contact me with any species questions or concerns. The best place to reach us is our Helpdesk (located in the forums, which includes help regarding redesign and MYO approvals, the masterlist, and a general FAQ.

We also have a work-in-progress lore page that you can check out at the moment that has a great reference for the map and the countries of Aqualis, home of the Shrimpshifters! If you want to pick a place for your Shrimpshifter to live within the realm, you’re totally welcome to (however, if you want them to live in your own stories and worlds, that's ok too)!

Don’t have a Shrimpshifter yet? No worries! We plan to have a new MYO soon as a celebration for the 1 year anniversary!

If you have any questions about or need clarification regarding the changes, please ask! There's a lot to read here but we want to try to explain it as simple as possible!
