We are starting a new activity, Shifter of the Month (Shifter OTM)! You can submit your Shifter to the thread the month prior, and the community will vote on the Shifter for the upcoming month!

Happy Saturday everyone! We have some updates for you all!

SPRING HUNT UPDATE

As requested, I wanted to let you know how many of the rarer flowers are left! There is 1 Legendary, 2 Rare, and 3 Uncommon remaining. Common flowers will remain open until the end of the event!

We will be sending out prizes this weekend and adding Remnants for flowers that have closed! We will start getting to the Common prizes next weekend.

A couple people have brought up accidentally finding candies from the last scavenger hunt! I still have a link to where all the candies were, so I will be taking those down alongside the flowers at the end of the event (or if I have any extra time before then). I have no idea why I only took down half of them after the Halloween Hunt, but that will be fixed before the next scavenger hunt!

I also wanted to clarify that flowers can be in any textbox that a) I can edit (since I set up the event) and b) can insert an image!

If you would like to know how many claims you have sent in, feel free to ask below (since all of the ones you've sent in claims for may not be reflected in the list)!

WORLD UPDATES

Firstly, there is a new Directory page for the World! It contains important links, a guide for new members, the FAQ, and the Discord link. Please give it a look! If you think something could be elaborated on, or that something is missing (or if you're still confused on something), let us know below so we can add it!

You may notice in the directory, we have included a section about boosting for our Discord server! Each month you boost us, we'll send you a Legendary MYO and 10 Remnants. We appreciate all of your support!

Welcome to the Spring Hunt!

INSTRUCTIONS

Throughout the Toyhouse World, and anything Shrimpshifter related, there are hidden flowers (and foliage) that can be claimed for a prize! These flowers can essentially be hidden anywhere that has a text box. There are a total of 30 flowers to find (and 10 unique sprites for them)!

Once you find a flower, click on it, and you will be directed to a character link that has the prize listed on it. If you would like to claim the prize, head over to this Google Form and fill it out according to the instructions (it's the same Google Form in the character page). You must fill out this form each time you find a flower, so that we have accurate timestamps. Your email will not be recorded.

The Google Form will ask for your Treasury Account Number. While your Treasury Account number is optional, you won’t be able to claim Remnants or Scales without it. If you don’t have an account yet and would like one, please go to the Account Creation thread! You can put "pending" in the form in the meantime.

KEEPING TRACK OF WHAT YOU'VE FOUND

We recommend writing down somewhere the locations, or even codes, of flowers you've already found! 

You can also favourite the character you'll be taken to for flowers you've found. That way, when you click on them, you know you've submitted the google form for it. (Don't worry, they won't show up in your favourites, since the characters are private and can't be seen publicly.)

OTHER DETAILS

The game will end on April 30th!

While Remnants and Scales are stackable, MYOs upgrade as you find them. So, if you find an Uncommon MYO, and then find a Rare MYO, you will just receive a Rare MYO. You can receive one MYO for each trait set you find (for example, if you found a Deep Sea and a Regular, you get both).

There is a cap (in parenthesis) to the number of people who can find Uncommon (20), Rare (10), Legendary (5), and Mythic (2) flowers.

RULES

We really want this scavenger hunt to go smoothly, and we only have one rule that is necessary:

DO NOT share flower locations with anyone, for any reason. This defeats the purpose of the game and can ruin the fun for others.

Breaking this rule will have you banned from future scavenger hunt events.

Also! Apologies on the lack of an April newsletter this month, but I've been really busy! (There won't be any new Guest Artists this month because of this, but you can still apply for next month ^^)

This weekend we are hosting a mid-March, Flash MYO Event! Meaning, from the time you join, you have 48 hours to design your MYO! 

The deadline to join this event is 12 AM, on Monday, March 20, site time. 

Be sure to read this bulletin in it's entirety, so you don't miss anything!

⚡ HOW TO JOIN!

You can join this event to receive a Common MYO by commenting below and pinging one friend that isn't currently a part of this World! (We will check to see if they're already here--make sure to take a peek at the Worlds tab on their profile!) 

If you share this event in a bulletin, you can upgrade to an Uncommon MYO!

Now, for the tag-a-friend part: if the friend you pinged joins the World, your ticket will upgrade to a Rare MYO (or, an Uncommon one, if you didn't share this in a bulletin)!

⚡ MYO INSTRUCTIONS

By commenting the requirements above, you will either receive a Common, Uncommon, or Rare slot, depending on all of the criteria you complete. 

I will reply to your comment with which MYO you received. When/if I see your friend join, I'll reply to let you know that they joined, and that you received an upgrade!

From the moment you comment, the time is ticking for you and your friends! You have 48 hours to design your MYO and send it in for approval. For the proof section of the approval, make sure to link back to my reply granting you an MYO! 

*Please note, I may not be able to reply to you immediately! But as soon as you comment, you're welcome to start working on your design.

⚡ I WAS PINGED! WHAT DO I DO?

If you were pinged here, and you've just joined, you can receive the same MYO level your friend did! All you have to do is reply to your friend's comment to join this event, and make sure to ping a friend in your comment, who is not in the World yet! That way, we can keep the chain going!

Please read through the rest of the bulletin as well, if you haven't already!

If your friend only received an Uncommon MYO, you can receive a Rare one by sharing this event in a bulletin. The friend you pinged will get a Rare MYO from your chain!

⚡ CHAIN LENGTH REWARDS

Don't wait--start your chain now, because the longer your chain, the more rewards you can win!

Chain of 5: All chain members upgrade one rarity! (Uncommon > Rare; Rare > Legendary!)
Chain of 7: All chain members can receive the Deep Sea trait set!
Chain of 10: All chain members receive an additional, non-expiry, Rare MYO, OR they can turn this MYO into a non-expiry one!
