Physical Appearance

• Long blonde hair that trails past hips, hair mostly flipped over right side and covers right eye
• Yellow eyes
• Tan skin, although it appears more pale in elemental form
• Markings around eyes that glow while her rifting is in use

Clothing Style

Lylaea dresses rather typically for the Electricatalian women living in Detrati, which tends to be light on material due to the desert climate (despite the fact that heat doesn't really affect them, it's more of a cultural thing). She tends to wear warmer colors, usually reds and golds, and usually wears somewhat skimpy tops. Her bottoms can range from short skirts, long slitted skirts, or something in the middle. Her short skirts tend to be more form fitting, but her medium or long skirts are usually loose and flowing since they're the ones she usually wears while dancing. Although she most frequently wears rather revealing outfits, she dresses a bit more modestly when at home or when working around the orchard. Her tops might still have rather open necklines or deep cuts, but she'll frequently wear loose-fitting blouses with a skirt of some kind. She prefers her clothes that has less material to be tight, but anything that has more material should be loose and flowing. She's not fond of pants or shorts in the least, and she has complete confidence in her body so she never really cares about being modest for the sake of others and will only do so if she's in the mood for it.

Her footwear solely consists of various types of sandals, and she won't wear anything high heeled or that's difficult to walk or dance in. She's very fond of gold jewelry, and she's usually seen wearing loads of necklaces, bracelets, and any other wearable treasure to the point where it looks rather excessive. She doesn't show off all her treasures to flaunt her wealth, rather she just likes wearing lots of shiny things all at once. Most of them are stolen or gifts (likely stolen too) since most people in Detrati are thieves, and quite a few Detrati Rogues have picked up the habit of stealing from outsiders and given at least one of their tokens to Lylaea to increase her collection. Her family is well liked by the community, so her shiny-collection has benefitted a lot from all the good will toward them. Some might think this would just make her a larger target for other thieves, but you're out of your mind if you think you can steal from anyone in Detrati.

Personality

Lylaea comes off as a very mellow and rather flirty woman who's excellent at negotiating her way into getting whatever she wants. She can sometimes come off as rather low energy when in casual conversation, and her energy is mostly shown in short bursts, usually displayed through her dancing but also occasionally when something really catches her interest (usually gold or jewelry). She is very eloquent and persuasive with her words, so she gets the most accomplished by talking other people into doing things for her. She is capable of doing things on her own, but she usually is unmotivated while doing so and gets very irritable. Lylaea can seem somewhat selfish or greedy since most of the things she does are usually motivated by her own benefit, but she can be very generous and selfless when it comes to her hometown community. Despite the fact it seems like most people in Detrati are working for her family or involved with them somehow, she's very open to giving back to those people for their contributions and isn't focused on her own family's profits. It's easy to mistake her for being greedy since she loves gold jewelry so much, but it's more that she just likes shiny things a lot and doesn't really care about their monetary value. The easiest way to get on Lylaea's good side is to give her gold jewelry.

Lylaea is loyal and compassionate toward her neighbors and friends, and although she can be rather sassy and a touch manipulative, she never means any harm toward those within the community. She couldn't care less about most outsiders though, and unless they do something to get on her good side then she won't feel guilty about robbing any of them blind and leaving them to the desert. Although she likes to get others to do her dirty work, Lylaea is capable (and also very skilled) at slight of hand and pickpocketing, so she is perfectly capable of stealing things she wants from idiot tourists if she feels like it.

• Rarely leaves her hometown in Detrati since her high-bounty boyfriend often indirectly makes her a target too

Backstory

Lylaea was born into a family that owned most of the wealth in Detrati, yet the family was well liked since they always channeled their funds into improving the town. Although they had many businesses across Detrati and also in various other regions of Onakaiya, the part Lylaea was most familiar with was their original family owned orange orchard in her hometown, so she grew up learning about the business that would eventually be passed down to her and her older sister. Over time though, it was obvious her sister wasn't interested in staying in the family business at all, but Lylaea was more than happy to stick with it.

Like most Electricatalian children in Detrati, Lylaea trained as a Detrati Rogue to better prepare herself for the harsh world, despite her not planning on becoming a full fledged Rogue in the end. It was a perfect environment to learn combat techniques to defense herself, stealth and thievery skills, and hone her rifting. Lylaea was proficient in combat and excelled at stealth-related techniques, so she determined she'd eventually switch over to train with the Rogue dancers instead of becoming a warrior. She ended up befriending one of her peers, Kamanari Lystrik, when she was having some trouble getting her rifting to work properly at the beginning of their course. The two have been close ever since, and they've been considered a couple by most of the people that know them in Detrati (even if they don't necessarily admit to it).

Lylaea currently remains in Detrati and has started taking on some of the duties involving managing the orchard. Although her father doesn't plan on stepping down any time soon, she's content with prepping herself for the day when she might have to take on this particular business on her own. She also isn't that interested in leaving Detrati anyway, since Kamanari has somehow managed to get a ridiculously astronomical bounty on him for some reason and bounty hunters tend to target her indirectly to get his whereabouts. Lylaea feels pretty safe in Detrati though, with basically the entire community backing her family, so it's not that much of an inconvenience other than wondering if and when her idiot boyfriend is going to swing by for a visit.
