Likes: Science, glasses, power, seafood, Ameritis Crystals, Nemphis (don't point it out though), experiments, and super weapons.

Dislikes: The Lunarian Empire, The Star Kingdom, Chaos Elements, anyone she perceives to be a threat against her empire, anyone who interferes with her plans, and sweets.

Personality: Glades has a bad habit of believing she is always in the right and that her actions will benefit her empire. Due to this, she tends to show little regard for other planets and people in her quest for power. Unfortunately, she remains very unaware of how the people of her own planet disapprove of her actions, but she's not afraid to silence those who speak against her. However, she's also managed to convince others that her actions are necessary. She's also known to value science highly and will take advantage of situations to conduct experiments with whatever potions or chemicals she has on hand. She's good at keeping a cool head and staying focused on her goals, and occasionally comes off as a bit emotionless unless things get crazy enough. It's generally recommended to never claim she's wrong or else the mad scientist in her will surface.

History: Glades grew up on Nymphia and went to school with Flutter where they both studied science. She initially had a lot of respect for the then young emperor Nemphis and wished to impress him with her scientist knowledge and efforts. She eventually became frustrated when her efforts became ignored, and she then began to question Nemphis and his insistence on keeping peace with empires and colonies that were hostile towards them. Through lots of effort, Glades managed to become the head of the Nymphian Empire's science committee and began her efforts to find a power source to deal with her empire's galactic enemies. When Flutter reported that the planet he had worked on terraforming had an abundance of powerful crystals called Ameritis Crystals, Glades immediately  sought them out as a source of power. When Flutter began to question this, Glades feared he knew too much and had him turned into a Rainbow Butterfly and shipped off to another planet. Not long after, she seemed to have mysteriously misplaced Nemphis as the Nympian emperor and began launching attacks on all of her perceived enemies.

Current-Bio: Glades is currently the acting emperor of the Nymphian Empire and has become quite the galactic conqueror. Since she's responsible for galactic wars and genocides linked to part of the cast, she serves as one of the main antagonists. She rarely leaves Nymphia and is usually found in her laboratory or communications room, but occasionally uses a digital avatar/persona on the spacenet (internet).

Meta-History: Glades has strange origins, originally being an AI ally of Sakura Glades' Avatar who knew a lot of information and was there to help the other characters. However, I was rebranding an old creature design of my brother's and I's called Ux into what are currently Nymphians and then I decided that Glades was actually a Nymphian. The original story-line had her be a traitor/spy for the enemy who eventually made her evil alignment know to the main characters, but now she's a villain from the start (her old design is now her online avatar). Her original design was partially inspired by Mimi from Super Paper Mario while her name was inspired by Gladis from Portal. She's also one of my characters whose name I flip-flop on how it's pronounced. Sometimes it's "Glades" (rhymes with "Blades") and other times her name sounds like "Gladis"

Relationships with Other Characters:

Shine: Glades briefly met Shine before she became a galactic conqueror. While he seems to consider her to be a friend, she sees him as a threat and an enemy due to his role in helping Luna.

Luna: Glades and Luna have a mutual hatred of one another.

Latin: Glades considers Latin to be an enemy due to her allying with the Lunarians.

Flutter: Glades and Flutter were classmates and both studied science together. The two briefly worked as scientists together, but Glades eventually got promoted to a position above Flutter and became interested in his work regarding a previously unimportant planet that he helped terraform and its abundance of Ameritis Crystals. Fearing he had become too aware of her plans, she decided she needed to get rid of him and is directly responsible for turning him into a butterfly and ditching him on Animal Planet. Needless to say, the two are no longer on good terms.

Shadow-cat: Glades works directly with Shadow-cat and considers him to be her greatest ally.

Cecil: Glades and Cecil are allies.

Nemphis: Glades rarely has anything good to say about the old Emperor of her planet. Rumor has it that she used to harbor a crush on him in her youth, but that appears to be a thing of the past.

Nemmy: Glades finds Nemmy to be too cowardly to be a threat and mostly ignores him. However, she's not above threatening him.
