We trample others in reach for the spider's thread, / but it always snaps and sends us tumbling down headlong. / Even so... / Everything should just be destroyed. (Distrust everyone.) / Balance and order mean nothing whatsoever! / But now you see us, don’t you? (The ones who crawl on the ground.) / We’ve been here, here this whole time! / So, just pull the trigger. I'm not a traitor.

The Prince of Absolute Stillness is a cold, calculating ghost of a man who, for all his power, has very little of the netherworld under his rule. he prefers this, as it means he has more direct control and does not need to trust most of his work to underlings. due to this, he has by far the fewest abyssals under his command of any deathlord--less than five--and only makes efforts to get more when one needs to be replaced.

He was personally offended by discovering that the Neverborn hadn't died properly, and killing them "properly" immediately consumed his thoughts. At this point he's tried all the obvious ways and is now working on less obvious ones, with destroying Creation being a last--but acceptable--resort. His failure to end them during the Great Contagion sent him into a depressive spiral he has only in the last couple of years begun to come out of. He's currently still gathering the building blocks for his next move, which lives entirely in his skull--even his Abyssals aren't sure why Absolute asks them to do things.

He has lost much of his living memory to ghostly obsession and age, but he still remembers the personality and the (admittedly very fragmentary) appearance of his former spouse with affection. It's also his only real remaining bit of human warmth.

Absolute is shorter than he feels like he should be from his sheer force of personality, and his shade completely lacks spectral flesh--his form is a scorched skeleton with a partially crushed skull, with long blond hair flowing from the intact areas of his skull and a pale turqoise light shining from his intact socket. the destroyed sections, if the hair is lifted from them and they are investigated closely, look like they were struck by the closed talons of a very large bird, and the interior of his skeleton is filled with NothingTM--not air, but a total absence of form. His clothing is beautifully crafted, loosely flowing grave goods, but leaves his chest mostly bare. His ribs are warped and scarred towards the top half, but it's quite difficult to see--it's an old injury taken in life, not something that ended up killing him.
