Olanva is the prideful matriarch of the harrg clan. the clan is situated near inverness, where they have set up a trading post. it is through sheer power that olanva is able to carry her people forward, but the pressure from other clans have made her reluctant to cooperate with outsiders. she lives by a strong honor code, one she has defended fiercely, with countless scars to match. the matriarch is unmatched in many fields, and though she is powerful, she is by far not a brute. it is not uncommon for her to disregard her advisors, only for the clan to be better off in the end. through a strong upbringing, she learned the art of leadership, and it’s only natural then that she takes it very seriously. she’s stubborn through and through, a trait spoonfed to her by her very mother, sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse. nonetheless, she strives for what is best for her clan, though sometimes her actions may be misplaced.

of course, when a completely inexperienced matriarch from a rogue clan comes begging at her doorstep, only to assassinate one of her dearest advisors, she is enraged to her very core. even her composure could not prevent her from declaring war on the smaller clan, one she was determined to win with ease, but... somehow, the matriarch of the durvin clan consistently eludes her predictions.
