Hitomi Sato

a satori, and a therapist. hitomi may not seem the type, but she is a being of great age. at a walloping 562 years old, she has seen many leaders come and go, and been the advisor of almost as many. with her ability to read minds, she has been a formidable, if not insurmountable negotiator. it is impossible to keep a secret from her once she opened her third eye, which makes her dangerous to speak to, indeed. the scars on her body show the price she had to pay for this nosy skill, ones that even countless retainers couldn’t prevent. some of the older residents from kuromori may fondly recognize her, but in truth, she’s more than eager to leave that past behind.

currently, hitomi is using her abilities for less sinister purposes. her ability, when activated with patient consent, has proven to be extremely helpful, particularly with trauma patients. her naturally disarming aura, as well as her kind and gentle way of speaking, have made her a god-send for many. surprisingly, being subjected to the mental problems of others is a much more easy-going life than she used to have, and somehow, she’s at much more peace than she once was. all she has to do nowadays, is listen to the problems of others, under the company of a cup of tea. it’s perhaps a bit worrying that she’s become so desensitized, but hey, luckily, nobody else in the office has her same ability!
