slutting it up in the retirement home. blaire is an old friend of hordrek and delilah’s, or rather, their drag mother. they are a warm, carefree, yet incredibly intense person. blaire moved to delhi due to the motivation of their husband, biju, who came to their drag bar while on a business trip in the states. blaire became infatuated with him immediately, and moved with him to his home country. while it was entirely on impulse, they haven’t regretted it even a minute. 

or, well, until they did. as it turns out, there was no drag scene to speak of in delhi whatsoever. blaire lives for the performance, and knew little else - it thus didn’t take long for them to beg their little hubby for money. soon after, club smoky eye was erected, though... understandably, had trouble gathering customers. it really became more of an inn for prostitutes, hijras and gay men for a long time. there was little glamor in it, but a strong community settled in. as the sole performer, blaire became the star of these outcasts, and bit by bit, more people would step forward as queens. 

one of them was hordrek, better known as delilah, and later on, a young djinn named cala joined in, making the club quite the hot spot. all good things must come to an end, though, as the law enforcement became worryingly aware of the bar‘s status as a hang-out, and sometimes, pick-up spot for prostitution. they needed a place to stay, but it wasn’t going to be in the human world. blaire then moved their business to fogmere, where thankfully, there were many more performers to join their bar. 

life’s been peaceful since then, as blaire has grown old enough to now be in comfortable retirement. not that it’s calmed them down, by any means. they only stopped performing because their joints couldn’t handle it anymore. their attitude is still equally grand, and their desire for suitors... perhaps grander?!
