Ngh, why'd it have to be the dang pink princess? Of all the things to be weak for...
What can I say? I dig the bad-boy loners.
Was expecting to just protect and mentor him like I was assigned to, but he's not too bad of a guy. A bit of a grump sometimes and stubborn enough for me to think he should've gotten a bull spirit instead of a wolf. The only problem seems to be that I can't get any sympathy from him when Mariena tries to paint my nails. She's already brainwashed him.
Cooler than a chilled cucumber. Kind of an asshole when I first met him, but we've warmed up to each other after so long. And other than my brother, he's the only close male friend I've had in years. It's an interesting change of pace being close with someone who doesn't want to convince me to get a manicure.
Would you two quit gossiping about my legs already? Sheesh...
Who the heck goes to the beach in pants on every occasion? Akwella keeps nagging me to convince him to wear some swim trunks so she can evaluate his legs. Judging by his physique they're probably pretty cut. Don't know what he's so shy about, but it's starting to get awkward with how much I end up requesting for him to lose the pants. Why can't she demand it herself? DX I'm sorry man.
What kind of kids are you trying to relate to with that blathering?
Buddy boy, you need to chillax a bit more.
I've done all I can to be a worthy apprentice to you, Master. There's little I value more than your approval... and there's nothing I appreciate more than the selfless care you've put into my upbringing.
I hope you know how proud I am of you. I also hope you know how dear you are to me. My hopes of having a family disappeared long ago, but you'll always be a son to me.
What the heck started this weird obsession of yours with my legs?
Judging by the rest of you, your legs have to be pretty well cut. Why won't you let me see them? Do they have some embarrassing flaw or are you just being selfish with them? :P
Master suggested introducing myself to Sir Zilvas when I eventually ventured away from Tenshi. He's obviously a reliable and resourceful ally to have.
Heard Master Maco has a pretty cool apprentice to potentially join the ranks. He keeps a close eye on everything going on around Uniselias, and he seems to be looking out for the new host for the Spirit Anima well too.
Justin's a nice guy, and he helped me find my way to Eskete. He gets into a whole lot of trouble without trying though... And why the heck does his girlfriend "ship" us? I don't even know that that's supposed to mean.
I swear I've met him before... don't think it was while traveling though. But anyway, Matt's a reliable friend to have around. It's embarrassing how often he's had to save my hide already...
Aria's always so chipper and sing-song no matter how bad things get around here. She's also been the driving force behind keeping the city looking lush and connected to nature despite all these Enlightened attacks. You should see how worked up she gets when they wreck the environment with all the fighting they cause...
Matt is Reverus's current apprentice, and I think he's his personal favorite. It's easy to see why though, Matt's just so dedicated and good at pretty much everything assigned to him. He's a little too serious sometimes, but that's okay. He means well, and he's more charming than he thinks too.
Even if I didn't have to work so closely with Katokee, I'm pretty sure I would've warmed up to Delyless anyway. I thought I'd go more for a gal like her, but her BFF roped me instead... *sigh* And of course Delyless doesn't offer any help and just encourages all the... weird stuff Mariena likes getting us into.
Sorry bro, if the BFF says she wants to give her crush a makeover, I'm not gonna bail you out. Heck, I'm more likely to just hold you down if you think there's a chance of getting out of it.
Chatta's pretty interesting. You'd think she's just a flirty party animal who spends most of her time at the beach... which she is, but she can also put up way more of a fight than her danger-prone boyfriend.
Ooo, what a bad boy. I ship him and Justin. My bae is just such a damsel in distress, and Matty here is always around to save the day when I'm not around.
I have a lot of respect for Drein. I know the eastern desert is a treacherous place, with the terrain, the crime, and the Enlightened roaming about. And he seems well known in the region for the work he does to keep the conflicts down.
I don't get far enough into the mainland to know much about Uniselias and the organized efforts to combat the Enlightened. Out in the east we have to fend for ourselves. Meeting Matt was an interesting experience, since I don't know that many other people who can handle such conflicts.
The people of our world have been so hardened to the conflict with the Enlightened. Tera knows the hardships since they took her parents from her early on, but it's sad to think the greatest traumas came from those who are supposed to be her own people... Uniselias has learned to stand united against the greater threat, but these outer regions can be so much more cutthroat.
Matt's an important person from the capital, and it's obvious he knows how to handle threats. He reminds me a little of Drein, although he's pretty confident and isn't flustered by Chatta at all.
I'm rather familiar with Master Shasces since he works so closely with my own Master, along with being his closest friend. He's a bit quirky, but his experience and wisdom aren't to be doubted.
It's been such a long while since I've seen Maco so attached to one of his apprentices. Matt is incredibly special to him, and he's a very talented individual in his own right.
Master seems to trust him, but I have my doubts about Master Zilztift at times. Not about his skills. It's the strength of his allegiance I have issues with...
Reverus's apprentice sure takes everything seriously around here. He's getting up there though, so he definitely needs a responsible youngster like Matt handling all that adventuring that needs to be done.
I'm surprised how Naga's been able to stay so optimistic growing up in this kind of state. It's probably for the best though. It's not all that exciting to be cynical all the time.
Matt's really cool, and he knows how to make quick work of those Enlightened folks. He could learn to loosen up a bit though.
Wow, she and Karia are so much alike aside from some physical features. They talk the same, they're both intellectuals, they have the same Element, and they've got the glasses going on. I guess this answers the question of what Karia would look like if she were blonde and a mouse... although I don't think anyone has every asked that.
Matt's like our bro if you doubled the grumpy stat and tripled the loner stat. The lone wolf needs an edgy tiger to mentor him to lone-wolf better.
Katokee's brother is a bit worrisome at times. He wouldn't take life on this planet for any longer than necessary... but at least he seems willing to learn for the sake of his family.
Bro's got an edgy buddy to teach him to be a more edgy badass. I wonder how long it'll take before Matt gives in to the ladies and is dragged to the mall on a regular basis. Bro didn't last that long.
Oh boy, more kids to get caught up in this war... She seems even more cheery than the other weirdly chipper people around here. I hope that innocence lasts... it never does if you stay here long.
Ooo, grayscaled Tigger's gonna teach Maney to save Animal Planet.
You can imagine our world gets a lot of orphans, myself included. There's a lot taken into Uniselias in general, but there are a couple odd exceptions that end up in the capital with all the channelers and senators... I doubt this kid will end up like me though.
Matt fights bad guys for grumpy grandpa. He's grumpy too.
She might be significant to Katokee's past, but I'm not going to let his sentimentality skew his judgment... It's easy to see she's not trustworthy.
Looks like the kid has got this bodyguard hanging around him now. Seems like a stick in the mud and all about the authority.
I’ve only heard of her as the previous Steyl Channeler, since she apparently disappeared before I arrived at the captial. I’ve only seen her in the sanctum where the potraits of all the past channelers are kept... There’s something about her that gives me an uneasy feeling, and I don’t like to think about it.
