CREATION ERA

Her name was Juniper. At least that's what Arceus told her when she opened her eyes. Juniper was born from the coldness crafted from the rain Splash brought and Vomghroas [Ice Type Primal]. Being Vomghroas' champion, Juniper was the Icicle Plate. What the purpose of her creation? She was to assist Splash in refilling the sea with the use of her ice. Much like her setmates (Zap and Earth), Juniper was calm and collected as the two. While her powers brought to chill to those she comes in contact with, the female was gentle, elegant, and even kind. For most of her time, she either stood by Splash's side (as the male walked along the sea he forged) or spent time with the Complete One reflecting with them over the state of the world. She never interacted with the mortals (not that she saw a need to) and inclusively kept her relationships limited to the plates, her Creator, her Creator's brother, and the Complete One. They were the only ones she felt that she should interact with. It didn't help the mortals killed Skye some decades after some creation.

When it came to Juniper's relationship with the plates, the plates were friendly towards the female. She rarely caused trouble for the plates to the point that even Draco himself seemed to like her. She was much closer to Gaia than she was to Zap. She didn't hate Zap or anything. She respects her older setmate. It was just that Zap never allowed anyone to get close to him and get to know him. It contrasts Gaia, who had no problem sharing how she felt (and often ramble about the things she wasn't pleased with). Juniper enjoyed listening to the female's ramblings. There was something about what the female said that always fascinated her. Perhaps it was because the female reminded her of the Completed One.

The Completed One was once the fusion of Kyurem, Reshiram, and Zekrom. They were the legend Juniper attached herself to when Arceus gave her the freedom to explore the world with Splash. The legendary Pokemon was a wise one that Juniper often listen to the ramblings of as they were enjoyable. They reminded her of Arceus in some respects with a slight bit of pessimism. She always spent every few days talking with them about what she saw from her travels with Splash and how the mortals were faring. After all, the Completed One often avoid contact with mortals. In their eyes, the mortals never followed the concept of thinking before acting. They were impulsive and were about as reactive as the Pokemon they try to tame. It was something that Juniper never understood as she never interacted with the mortals.

But alas, she would be proven wrong.

At some point, the Completed One allied themselves with two mortals. These mortals were the ones who would help establish what was once the Unova region. These mortals would be known as the Heroes of Ideals and Truth. However, there was a problem: the brothers argued over how the region should be governed. This lead to the two arguing over their belief as one valued the truth and the other valued ideals. Their arguing left the Completed One in a state of confusion that only grew when the two got involved in the war. As much as the Completed One wanted to stay out of this war, they didn't want to see the place they called home to be ripped apart by a petty argument. However, they were split on who they should support. Should they side with the truth? Should they side with the ideal?

Thanks to their conflictions, the truth and ideals that made up the Completed One tore itself away from the god. The split resulted in three dragons replacing them: Zekrom (The Dragon of Ideals), Reshiram (The Dragon of Truth), and Kyurem (The Dragon of Wuji). Zekrom and Reshiram allied themselves to the respected brother they support during the war between them. Kyurem just watched as this occurred. It lacked the strength to end the meaningless battle. Juniper tried her hardest to stop the battle in Kyurem's stead. However, the brothers nor the dragons didn't listen to her. This resulted in Juniper's calm demeanor to dissolve and snap. Without a single drop of remorse, the female lashed out at the four while taking control of Kyurem's body. However, the more she fought, the quicker she found herself losing her self. She wasn't used to Kyurem's primal nature and desire to become whole. Combined with Vomghroas' influence, it's no surprise the female acted the way she did. The war became centered on the heroes attempting to defeat the Juniper! Kyurem. The battle devasted the kingdom the brothers created and tore apart the army that the two brothers had. Juniper! Kyurem even managed to defeat Reshiram and Zekrom. However, just as Juniper! Kyurem was about to consume Reshiram and Zekrom to become complete, Kyurem expelled Juniper from their body and did the unexpecting:

Kyurem slammed a Dragon Claw through her body.

Juniper couldn't pry herself away from Kyurem's claws. It was not because she didn't have the strength to do it. She was not a weak plate. Her reasoning is because she didn't want to do so. She realized why Kyurem did it. Even at his current mindset, the female realized that Kyurem didn't see her as a companion. She was a parasite that was causing trouble than its worth. She was becoming the one thing that Kyurem didn't want her to be. As life yanked itself away from her, she found herself musing on everything that happened. She wondered if Arceus was disappointed in her for what she caused. She questions where would her conscious go. She wonders if Meadow did what she did in his final moments. With one final breath, Juniper allowed her essence to leave her so her replacement would take over.

His name is Icy. At least that's what the young man that held him told him. From the fragments of what was once Juniper and the energy of Kyurem, Icy was born. The memories of being Juniper were gone. The male was aware that he was a reincarnation of someone, and mortals involved in why his old self died. Other than that, everything was a blur. Well, not everything. He knew who Arceus was. He knew about the legends. He knew his purpose and the plates. He even knew the young man who held him was the guardian of Arceus, Damian. He simply couldn't recall his old life.

Honestly, that didn't bother him in the slightest.

However, it did make the young man wary about trusting most people. Could you blame him considering what he can recall? As such, Icy taught himself to avoid building attachments to those who didn't know. It was probably for the best in honesty. You never know if that cute boy across the street is going to stab you in the back while you're sleeping. It was a dog-eat-dog world, and it was Icy's goal to be the top dog. It's why he became such a manipulative plate. With people wrapped up around his finger, he can both get what he wants and use them as meat shields. As twisted as it may be, it's been working out for him.

POA ERA-PRE ROTOM ERA

With the male's death, Arceus became wary when it came to letting Icy spend time with Kyurem and Splash. Kyurem was instable in his current state, and Splash was known to be a trouble maker. As such, the male spent most of his time with Mea, Gaia, and Damian for centuries after his rebirth. Icy wasn't too bothered by this since that meant he didn't need to do any form of traveling. All he did is work on his Ice Manipulation to find many ways to use it. When the POA ERA start and Damian started his adventure with a group of misfits (that he would eventually call his friends) to save the world, Icy and the plates were quick to join that. Granted, they didn't have a choice in the matter. Not much happened to Icy during/after the adventure. Well, besides a few smaller things.

He formed a strong friendship with Kane. It wasn't shocking. Kane and Icy were similar in some respects. Both were well-adept in their ice manipulation to the point they were able to change the physical form of an ice type (akin to Avalugg). Both were snarky dicks that enjoyed messing with others and carried a hatred for fire. It was Kane that gave Icy Bergy. Bergy was a Bergmite that Kane managed to make with his ice magic. Bergy was the best gift that Icy received. Icy seems to look up to Kane like an older brother.

He developed a love-hate relationship with Firefly. You wouldn't think that they would consider the thought of being in a relationship. After all, the two are constantly bickering with each other over the smallest of things. Despite that, it's clear they had a thing for each other. One has to question why when Icy is manipulative brat while Firefly is a hotheaded (and occasionally sassy) guy. Given, Icy did cite that he had a thing for bad boys with bad humor. It's unclear when exactly these two started dating. It's clear that they did start dating before the ROTOM Era, but the exact time is unclear. Regardless, they seemed to be perfectly fine, dealing with the other's shenanigans and being overall immature disasters.

In terms of other things that happened during this POA ERA to the PRE ROTOM ERA, Damian's fall had been something that did cause Icy to become clingy towards the male in question. Damian's fall occurred after the male was hit with Naoto's move and sent flying off a cliff. Falling into a coma, Damian was teleported away from Mi to an unknown location. However, the plates themselves were panicking as the damage done to Damian's body was severe enough that he was lying close to death's door. While he did have the benefit of reincarnation (thanks to his guardian status), the plates didn't know what would happen to them when Damian died. There was also the concern that Yveltal wouldn't be fast enough to save him. For that reasoning, they decided to fuse with Damian. While this did mean Arceus would no longer be able to use them as they were stuck with Damian, they didn't have any other options or the time needed to reflect on them. Giving a silent apology to their Creator for what they were going to do, these elemental spirits fused themselves into Damian, becoming one with the male.

ROTOM ERA-OUR STORY ERA (NOW)

During the months Damian was in a coma, Icy would often spend time with Mea as the male would perform the occasional check-up on him. Icy never enjoyed visiting Damian by himself. He always got anxious about the idea of witnessing the male's fits or his irregular moaning for the people he loves. While Icy didn't want to admit it, he didn't like to see the people he cares about get hurt as he always felt useless. It's something that he only told Firefly about since he feels he's the only one that won't make fun of him. As the months went by, Icy became progressively worried about the idea of Damian never waking up. This would eventually result in the male entering Damian's room and curling up against the male. He missed being near the male and just listening to the male's chattering. Icy felt so dejected and empty without him. He was the first to greet him when he was born, and the first he grew to like. He was the brother that he always wanted.

"Why....so....glum, Lil'...Bear?"

With those bright blue eyes, Icy found himself staring at the now conscious form of Damian. In one of the male's rarest moments, Icy broke down and clung onto the taller male. He couldn't hold back his relief that Damian was awake and able to communicate even if it was only in a whisper. Since then, the male became overly clingy to the other, especially when Damian himself got involved in the "War of Providence". He didn't want to lose the male again and would do anything in his power to ensure that nothing else would happen to him. To his relief, nothing did.

When the war ended, Icy spent his time doing what he usually did: chilling with the plates. With plates now fused with Damian, they were more or less stuck together until Damian somehow dies and stay dead. It's something that Icy doesn't mind as he does care deeply for the plates. They were his family, and he would do whatever he can to ensure they were safe. He has been bonding more with Firefly and serving as a horrible influence for the other. However, unlike some plates, Firefly and Icy had made the decision not to have kids.

Mostly because Icy prefers to be the only cute thing in Firefly's life that he showers with love.
