🎭 Personality
Cleo Gates is a very sociable, passionate mother. She loves to share her parenting experiences and embarrassing family photos with anyone and everyone.
Cleo is curious and loves to learn about new concepts. However, she is not very bright and isn’t good at fact-checking new information. As a result of this, she is currently involved in several multi-level marketing and alternative health scams.
She is very proud of her son Wayne… to the point where she downplays Wayne’s strange behaviours and rudeness.
She loves her husband Ed very much, but they often fight over how to parent their son. This fighting has diminished since Wayne moved to Canvasville to work with Jaycee and Cat Canada at the Jaycee Pawman Squad.
Cleo finds it difficult to maintain hobbies and interests without other people around her.

As a Tooniverse denizen, Cleo has the typical biology and abilities of a fictional human character. She can pull items from behind her back… but only when it’s funny!
Cleo Gates is an undead mummy. She can read hieroglyphs and can pacify beetles and some other insects. She sleeps standing up in a sarcophagus with her arms crossed on her chest.
Her body is almost entirely obscured by her mummy wrappings. What she looks like underneath is a mystery.
🔍 History
Cleo Gates was the high school sweetheart of Ed Gates. They married early and birthed a totally normal human child named Wayne Gates. Nobody knows how this was possible.
Cleo Gates was an extremely smothering parent to Wayne. She praised him often and undermined Ed’s punishments. Cleo and Ed’s differences in parenting caused a lot of arguments between the two.
Cleo and Ed wanted Wayne to birth grandchildren, but that dream was dashed when Wayne died and became a ghost.
