Spending his days training and competing, he’s a very well rounded guy, if a little bit slow on the draw when it comes to picking up hints that other people are putting down.

He’s an absolute heartthrob and smoothtalker, in spite of his jumbled sentences– But he’s also very polite, and therefore tends to assume people are just being nice rather than flirting. Be direct enough with him, however, and he’ll respond in kind.
