The defendant from hell, just about every prosecutor and lawmaker in New Orphidian silently rejoiced when she was gone. With her absolutely flawless track record, it’s an open secret that while a lot of her wins were legitimate, those that weren’t were won through fear. Outside of the courtroom, she was still a force to be reckoned with, even without the aid of her titan of a husband.

The precedents she set in court continue to help her family to this day, although without her they no longer have an in-house lawyer. There have been some attempts in recent years to reexamine some of these cases, although they haven’t made much progress.

Her son Virgil barely understood her work, but he thought it was very cool. She was a motherly figure to several of the present Malbranche, though most only knew her for less than a decade, as her death was almost 17 years ago now. Her loss was the first weakening link that eventually led to Aeneas’ death, and arguably the decline of the whole family, depending on who you ask.
