“You are a very kind man, Korune. I am glad to call you a friend… You’re almost akin to a brother— if that is all right with me to say…” Zako really did admire her fellow Vastaya, but she could only hope that if he ever found out about who she really was, he wouldn’t look down upon her.
"It's always a treat seeing ya when I'm around in Noxus! Too bad you're so busy all the time with whatever it is that you do. Let me know when you get a day off, I gotta take ya to PoroWorld again"
“He seems like a fine fellow, but he’s in a nosy profession… I will need to watch out for him.”
"The woman was like a shadow in the night, a creature of stealth and precision — and a not-so-fuzzy Vastaya such as myself. The scales that adorned her was smooth and patterned differently in various places. Some were darker, almost black, while others were lighter, tan in hue. The patterns and stripes on her limbs and tail worked together to create a striking effect. From a glimpse past her lip and pointed teeth, her tongue was blue, a brilliant hue, blue as a calm sea. It was a sharp contrast to her scales, but it somehow fit together beautifully. She had a fine pair of pins too, digitigrade shaped, definitely strong enough to shoot her high in the air if she so chose with one big leap. Her eyes were sharp, focused — almond-shaped, a solid amber color, dark and mysterious. All of these features together, they created a unique and striking appearance. Then her clothing… Elegant assassin robes with gold trim and jewels here and there; no doubt she worked for someone of high-living. I could see a curved blade by her side; unique and deadly, and I was sure she knew how to use it. — but beneath her deliberate and collected exterior, there was a hint of sadness in the way she carried herself; a sense of loneliness. Takes one to know one, I guess."
“I know of the Fervid Curse. He is nothing but a tool for the Grand General to wield… I do pity him. I wonder how much of his will he has left…”
“A mysterious woman who I have only seen once. She makes me suspicious.”
“I best not interact with the Ironhide of Noxus for now… Handsome, but definitely seems like the type to be invasive.”
“I’ve only seen her once or twice in the dead of night. Never gotten the chance to speak with her, but her mystery is captivating me. Oh to see that pretty face again…”
“I have heard many stories of this fabled Medea. I cannot help but feel pity for her and her people, perhaps even a little empathy — but I am well aware of the power she now possesses. I do have respect for her, but I am wise enough to watch my words if I ever encountered her.”
"After so many years in Kyren, I had forgotten just how varied our people are. Your existence is eye opening to me. You are nothing like the Vastaya I encountered in Ionia, you truly are a mysterious one indeed.
"It is not often I run into this one, but he has a deadly presence that I cannot help but respect. I would certainly be delighted to witness them in their field."
"I feel like in another world we're an unstoppable duo. She's doing what most can't: Looking just as good as me and also being just as talented. Maybe we could form a cult or something."
“I do not often see this merchant in Noxus, as he is a traveler. His medicines are phenomenal, and he has plenty of ingredients that I can use within my business. I am quite glad that he does not ask questions…”
“This one is so-so mysterious. She purchased raw materials from me before, yes-yes. I can only wonder-wonder what she used them for. Such pretty-pretty eyes though, like shiny-shiny copper.”
“This creature is… I only feel threatened by this wicked thing. It is a rare feeling for me nowadays, but… This undead monster frightens me. I could not take this one on my own…and frankly I would prefer not to engage.“
“Mortals tend to come in all forms. This one is a prime example; but so long as it breathes, no amount of uniqueness will rescue it from the pain I will grant! It is nothing to me but soil for my roots.”
“This spirit gives me chills like I've never felt before. The words she speaks are not ones I’m fond of hearing either… I best say nothing and keep my distance. I’m not ready to be a ghost myself yet…”
“Fierce one; lonely one… I can sense just how much you wish to be cared for, my dear. Our family is warm and loving; why not ease your solitude and become one with us?”
“You have a certain reputation here within Noxus, Vimal, so your offer here is rather surprising to me. …However — I do not suspect that your intentions are ill. By watching you, there may be something in you that I recognize. Hm… Perhaps someday I will take that offer of yours.”
"One of these days, we need to sit down for tea or something like that. You know, Zako... I have quite a large selection of tea at my estate, if you'd ever like to peruse my collection..."
"How did she figure out my weakness so quickly..."
"Sometimes you don't need to use your looks, your brains, or your skills to coerce another person. Sometimes what you need is a poro."
“Somehow more charming than any Miven I have come across. I know well of his past despite him being not so aware of me. That is how it is. I am rather surprised at how kind he actually is. I wonder if we could have been friends at one point. That is probably not possible anymore.”
“I saw her maybe once in the dead of night before I left Noxus. I knew nothing about her, but her stare is burned into my mind. Perhaps it was just a phantom of some sort, someone within my imagination. I cannot help but to be curious…”
Zako typically was one to give others a chance, but this was one of the few that she refused to. “No game. Just a warning.”
"What? Do you wish to say something to me?" She stares at the Vastaya, her gaze unchanging as she attempts to decipher the look on Zako's face. "What kind of game are you playing?"
"Remus, we are still trying to clean things up in Piltover, you know. You may have shared too much from recent gatherings. I am just here to warn you..."
"Zako... I think you ought to skidaddle unless you want someone to see you. I'm just fine, I swear! Give your lovely lady my best."
“Oh, you are… Um. Your uncle? Yes, I did see Momas pass by here...” SO fluffy. Zako wanted so badly to pat his head.
“Hello-hello. Miss, I am wonder-wondering: have you seen my Uncle Momas? He looks like me, but much-much-much smaller. This big, yes-yes.” Shuoma uses his hand to show her how tall his uncle was. She had such a mysterious aura about her, and an enchanting stare.
Zako felt a chill when this one addressed her, but she kept her demeanor. How did this one know of the Black Rose? It was true, she did not know of every past experiment, but this must have been one of them. “Your threats are noted, but leave me undisturbed. I cannot promise another mere passing should we find each other again with words like those…”
"What happened to the Tiliqua was a tragedy. Knowing one of the few remaining ones is workin' for them is... " Keroth's thought trailed off as Faaron spoke for him "𝘈𝘩, 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘤 𝘧𝘰𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘩 𝘱𝘢𝘸𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘙𝘰𝘴𝘦, 𝘥𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘶𝘴. 𝘕𝘦𝘹𝘵 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘶𝘴 𝘸𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘺 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘢𝘴 𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘤𝘪𝘧𝘶𝘭"
Zako wanted to sigh, but she managed to keep herself from making it obvious that she was getting tired of being this one's errand girl. "All right... Give me the directions..."
"My dear, you're my favorite one. You are efficient and you don't talk too much. Soooo...Mind running another little teensy weensy errand for me?"
Zako could not help but detect something odd about the serpent that the performer was charming. She narrowed her eyes and studied its movements. This was no ordinary cobra… She would look into it further another time. She spoke to Anjali next, “You have impressive skill. I’ve enjoyed this performance, you know. Perhaps our paths will cross again.”
"She's gorgeous! I've never seen such a beautiful person before.... I don't think she's worth pranking though, I bet she could cut me into pieces..." She swoons and the demon groans loudly and makes his opinion known. "Anjali, please think with your brain, not with your lower regions."
“Stay away from me, phantom.” Zako stepped back, raising her blade. “You best speak up though. How do you know of the Rose?”
The wraith inspected this one and spoke, shaking their head "Truly, truly a shame... You had potential, and then the rose infected you... But worry not, I will find a use for you eventually"
“I do believe that Vanzant could very well make a good assassin. I wonder if the matriarch would consider recruiting him… After all, he seems to be in just the right position.”
"Running errands is not so terrible if I get to go here. Setareh makes the finest bread I have ever eaten. It would be pleasant to get to know her better, is what I am thinking..."
"She's been the target of a bread delivery multiple times over. I adore Zako, she's one of the greatest people in Noxus. Do you think she'd let me examine her blade?"
“I do admire Felician’s skills. I always have. I also have always felt sympathy for him. He has lost so much, and frankly, I could never blame him for despising humans. I never will. …I know well of the terms the Black Rose lives by. Trust no one…but Felician has always been someone I could rely on. I do trust him, and I want to call him my friend. I hope that someday he could find some joy, and hopefully I will be there to see it.”
"I hate most people. Zako is not most people. She is the closest thing to a friend that I have. I doubt she wishes to spend all of her time with me but still, her company is nice. Being with her makes me feel... happy? Ugh, I feel sick."
"He bothers Felician too much. Should he try anything that could harm my colleague, I will not hesitate to put an end to him."
"Ugh, I hate having to get on people's good sides! She seems to be the only one that Felician doesn't want to kill on sight. I may have to try and ask what her secret is... yuck. At least she's gorgeous with good taste in fashion."
"That-- You talk far too much. FAR too much."
"A mysterious one, are you? I can't wait to find out what you're hiding! Shameful past maybe? Or some sort of shady business you've gotten yourself into? Or perhaps even a lifelong Platinum Member Subscription to PoroWorld™️? Hm... I think it's the latter one"
“I have watched him closely. I feel sympathy for him. I am grateful that I have not entirely lost myself after observing him. It makes me wonder if his old self is still in there somewhere.”
