PROFILE

The world of Fallen Impar is most certainly a different world compared to Pokémon World. As it stands, the world of Impar is one that is not only filled with Pokémon and humans. Oh no. Demons, angels and all kinds of oddities exist within this universe. However, to avoid disturbing the order of the world, these beings keep themselves in realms that rest opposite of Impar, only visiting the realm if they wish to explore the unknown. However, one has to wonder how Impar itself was created. We do know Arceus and Mew were involved in the process, but few are aware of what created this world. There are theories, but most are proven wrong. The answer itself is quite simple.

The plates are how the world was created.

These elemental spirits gave the ingredients needed for a world to be born. Their mere presence inspired the world to adapt to what was needed. They gave Pokemon their type and the legends that once held them the powers they would be known for. However, for decades, many regarded these spirits as nothing more than tools for Rose. They thought that they lacked sentience and the ability to feel human emotions. These mortals were wrong in their assumption. Oh, so wrong.

Here we have Jin. Jin is the Iron Plate and has the title of the Steeel Spirit. Despite being one of Rose's plates, he is one of the few plates that seems to lean away from being chaotic and "evil" in some aspects. In some respects, it's due to his overall personality as being a honorable and respective man. This doesn't seem to bother the other petals as they grown to respect his viewpoints. However, that doesn't stop them teasing him about it and the fact that he very much loves Ryoko with all of his heart. It's almost to the point that it reaches to corny levels. He doesn't seem to care though.

PERSONALITY

When it comes to the Petal's, Jin is one of the nicest you will ever meet. As jolly as it comes, Jin has no problem making jokes and getting along with anyone including his enemies. He can't help being a friendly guy. He is protective of Ryo and has no trouble lashing out of anyone who would dare hurt his 'precious lady' despite the fact she can defend herself. After all, he loves her and makes it known every time he tries to be romantic to her. It's something that Ryo always finds embarrassing. Does Jin care? Not really. All he wants is Ryo accept his love! It seems like he's making a bit of progress on that front as Ryo recently accepted his offer to go on a date with him.

It should be noted that Jin follows the Seven Principles of Bushido. These principles help shape the way he acts and is why he is different compared to the other Petals. The Principles include the following:

  • Rectitude. Correct judgment or procedure for the resolution of righteousness.
  • Courage. A virtue only in the cause of righteousness.
  • Benevolence. Love, affection for others, sympathy and nobility of feeling are regarded as the highest attributes of the soul.
  • Politeness. A poor virtue if it is actuated only by a fear of offending good taste. Rather it should stem from sympathetic regard for the feeling of others.
  • Veracity. Lying is deemed cowardly, and it was regarded as dishonorable. Indeed the word of a samurai guaranteed the truthfulness of an assertion.
  • Honor. A vivid consciousness of personal dignity and worth is implicit in the word honor.
  • Loyalty. Only in the code of chivalrous honor does loyalty assume importance. In the conflict between loyalty and affection, the code never wavers from the choice of loyalty.

Appearance

Jin stands at the height of 5'7 ft (170.18 cm) tall. Weighing 147.4 lbs (67 kg), Jin has a slightly stockier and muscular built. With dark skin, the male does have scars covering his body as a result of the battles he been in. He also has a significant burn over his right eye. The male has golden eyes with spiky, white hair that comes down to the middle of his neck.

Jin attire consists of a simple white haori that hangs loosely from his shoulders with black specks and swirls along it. Underneath it is a white keikogi, and hakama with blue swirls on it. Fixed on his feet are black and white Jika-tabi. Bandages completely cover both of his arms and covering his left eye is a black headband (composed entirely of cloth) that flows behind him into two distinct tails.

Design NOTES

  • Jin has one alternative form: Symbiosis Form with Ryoko.
    • As a note, his Symbiosis form is not his fusion form as the form is not a separate entity. At its core, Jin is primarily the one in control of this state with Ryoko occasionally tagging in. Their fused form is something they would eventually unlocked. It can be seen here: The Dragon Warrior.
  • After Ryoko admitting her feelings for Jin, this specific symbol appears on the palm of his hand.
    • This mark seems to symbolize his bond with Ryoko. This symbol is Ryoko's personal symbol.
  • Jin can't see out of his right eye. The burn he received from that has destroyed his ability to see from it. He refused to reincarnate himself to get it fixed.
  • The burn seems to stem from Ryoko accidentally taking control during their Symbiosis form and summoning flames that burned Jin when he defused to calm her down.
    • Similar burn scars from that event can be found on his right arm that he typically keep hidden from sight. Despite this, Jin hasn't let that bother him at all.
    • As a follow-up to the talks of scars, Jin does have numerious of them across his body that he isn't bothered by them. He seemed to manage to reach a point in his life that he ends up with at least one new scar per battle.
  • Whenever he gets serious, he takes off his haori and tighten the headband that covers his right eye. Whatever smile he has instantly vanishes.
  • Jin prefers to wear the clothes he is seen in the left wearing. To him, he feels that it's more appropriate for him to wear it. Occasionally, he'll even wear a straw hat whenever he feels like being cool. Most of time, he has to buy a new one since it always ends up breaking, but that doens't stop him.

Steel Manipulation

Being the steel plate, Jin has access to Steel Manipulation. This powers allows for Jin to create, shape and manipulate steel. From this, the male can do things such as Ferrokinetic Constructs, repair steel and deliver steel based attacks. However, he commonly uses the power in the form of Steel Mimicry. With this application, Jin can transform their body completely into steel. This metallic skin provides quite a large level of defense in a special and physical aspect in exchange for his speed. Hell, it even has a form of thermal defense, which might be quite the pain for Fire users to deal major damage to him.

Bushidō

Jin's Bushido is something that he cherishes. It's one of the few 'powers' that he has that helped him grow into the guy he is now. Jin possesses an innate ability to manifest great courage and nobility at all times, especially in the face of adversity. He is well rounded in many aspects and well versed in the seven virtues. As such, it comes to no surprise the male is equipped with the following abilities: Combat Perception, Enhanced Combat, Fear Masking, Indomitable Will and Enhanced Swordsmanship. All of this does make the male a deadly foe to fight in battle especially when he's with Ryo.

Dragon Symbiosis (Ryo)

There are a few reasons that Jin and Ryo are together. One is those reasons is Dragon Symbiosis. With this, Jin can gain powers by hosting draconic beings in one's body. In this case, the draconic being in question is Ryo. It's not necessary a fusion as Jin himself is still partially in control. With this, the male is able to use both his and Ryo's abilities. This combination turns the male into a powerhouse that is able to take a hit from Bruce and Mi combined. Ryo herself can take control of this form but doing so can lead to the female unintentionally harming the male due to how emotionally she can be when fused with Jin. It's one of the reasons why Jin has some of the scars he currently has.

Steel Moves

Being the steel plate, Jin has accessed to steel moves. The male is unable to use steel z-moves and legendary signature moves. Jin's favorite move is "Smart Strike". With this attack, the male doesn't have to worry about missing. Jin also knows slashing-based moves such as Dragon Claw, Night Slash and Shadow Claw. This relates to the fact the male primary weapon is his sword. Jin also appears to primarily use physical moves than special moves.

LIKES

  • Calligraphy. This visual art teaches Jin a virtue that coincides with his Bushido – patience. Combined with the fact it's a relaxing experience, he found this hobby to be fun.
  • Hot Springs. There's nothing like soaking in the springs after a long day of fighting.
  • Calligraphy. This visual art teaches Jin a virtue that coincides with his Bushido – patience. Combined with the fact it's a relaxing experience, he found this hobby to be fun.

DISLIKES

  • Anyone severely hurting Ryo. He loves her and willing to sacrificing himself if it means she'll be safe.
  • Cities. He's not really a fan of all the modern things going on in it. He's more of a traditional guy.
  • Going against his Bushido. The male can't bring himself to go against it. He has to follow it at all cost.

Trivia

  • Jin does bear some resemblance to the Samurai (Draco's/Firefly's fusion). I did not intend to do that.
  • Jin and Ryo are the only plates that work together well outside of a fusion. Hell, they even have a power similar to fusions that draws on both of their strength.
  • Jin powers were a bit hard to figure out since I didn't want to use the same powers I used for Nor.
  • If Jin had a canon voice, it would sound like this but deeper.
