This secondary research does get him a lot of side-eyeing from his fellow scholars, but he is not easily swayed from the topics that interest him. He has the desire to be the best, which means mastering the more volatile types of magic, which drew him to fire magic and eventually the creation branch.
• He was born into a prestigious and wealthy family of magic users and has a sister, Yin. They are striking opposites of one another, where Yin is more carefree and coasts along Pierogi is the more serious and dedicated sibling constantly striving to meet his parent's high expectations of their children's magic potential. He doesn't seem bothered by this difference either, thriving in the high-pressure environment that is magic academia.
• Was at one point in an arranged match with Shimmer, a lovely mhoat that he grew up alongside and went to school with. While they were fond of one another, their tastes lay elsewhere and they opted to maintain the relationship long enough to appease their parents before splitting. Despite their friendship, they often but heads on the subject of magic and whether it is better to study magic or use it for frivolous means as Pierogi puts it.
