He was an alligator who got tangled up in abandoned fishing gear/ropes and was trapped. Jace heard the commotion and came to the rescue.
A small piece of rope seemed to have carried over, along with an enchantment that reminds creatures around him to be wary of human items.
Olo works now to clean up litter and garbage left behind, protecting the mangrove swamps of Florida.
