Notes;

  HI MY NAME IS  YESTERDAY
         Pronounced "yesterday lol"

   I AM A  ?
   MY HOME IS A  Desert
   MY ORIGIN STORY WAS A  Axolotl
  I WAS TRANSFORMED BY Majanthi
   MY PERSONALITY IS  Mysterious, Curious, Quirky

Parched and dry above, the sky.
But down below, treasures and damp cavernous beauty.

Weather hidden by bandits or stashed by the owner, no one knows, but here , within a deep dark flooded cave, lies a long-forgotten treasure chest. Its been warped by time. Rusted and rotted, the sides give way, and out pours manuscripts, bottles and treasures.
One of note, is a tabletop horse statuette. Stone or bronze, its hard to say in the darkness, but it rears back, wild energy in its eyes, mouth agape as it neighs for freedom. But alas, it is trapped here, amidst the murk and chill of a flooded cave.
The local fauna have no qualms however. Be it rock or horse statue, shelter is shelter, and within its hollow form, an axolotl takes up residence.

Its safe and oblivious life is about to change however, when a adventurous cave-diver discovers the treasure, and not knowing a wee creature is living within, scoops the statue up into a bag, and eventually to their camp, in the arid mountains above the cave.

With the water drying up quickly, and no where to go amidst the burning sand, the mini amphibian is desperate for help.

A desert queen is on the march however, slowly and surely, treading the dunes, and has heard the calls of desperation from a small trapped creature.

The transformation is powerful, his size doubling, then doubling again, shattering the statuette he once hid within. As he looks around with his new eyes, at his new body, in his new home, he gathers the broken chunks of statue into his tail, a comforting piece of home from before everything went sideways.

Yesterday is suspicious, untrusting of humans, and generally unobtrusive. He likes to listen, and observe more than remark and argue, and would rather sit quietly in the dunes, listening to the songs of the sand and contemplating the many wonders that are now available for him to discover in this new life.
