About
At first glance, Rudy appears cold and gruff to anybody who stays around long enough to hear his voice. He's no-nonsense and stoic, though much of that is due to his shaky upbringing. As a teen, he lost his family to a Hellcow stampede, returning to a destroyed town with nothing livng left. All he found was his cat which died soon after, and he was forced to come to terms with the fact that he was truly alone now. Since then, he was bent on eliminating every last Hellcow, thus leading to his Cowpuncher profession.
One day, he stumbled across the lazy town of Borin' Springs and meets Susie Cochrane, who also lost her family to a Hellcow attack. After retrieving her rifle and gaining her trust, Susie joins Rudy on his quest to eliminate Hellcows from the source. A week or so later, Rudy comes across a frazzled British immigrant, Noah, who latches onto him like an orphaned duckling. Eventually, the two become friends and traveling partners, until they meet Ivy a while later and add her to the crew.
Over time, Rudy's rough exterior begins to soften with the more friends he makes. Ivy's energy and Noah's care help warm his heart, which eventually leads to his developing relationship with his to-be-wife, Cory. Rudy never loses his stern surface, but as the years progress, a pinch of gentleness slips through more often than before.

Combat
Rudy relies on his strength and fists to get by. He goes into a battle guns blazing and doesn’t stop until everyone is taken down. He is strong in melee combat with the assistance of his pardner, Susie Cochrane, as his sharpshooter.

STOIC | PERSISTENT | QUIET
Rudy is the most sensible in the group, taking into consideration possible reprecussions and advantages in situations. He's the one to hold the group back from rash actions, though sometimes his foresight isn't quite enough to nullify Ivy's eagerness to help. Being one with the most adventuring experience in the group, he also offers the team tips and boosts their morale in a way unique to his own.
However, because of his first and foremost dedication to eliminating Hellcows, he has developed a headstrong attitude about dealing with certain situations that involve them and place all his focus on that one task. His persistence also makes him stubborn; once he is set on a goal, it is difficult to make him back down.

Trivia
- Rudy's pun name is a bit harder to recognize than the other two, it being a play on "rude idiot." He is definitely much more than that, though.
- He grew his hair out because he couldn't be bothered to constantly maintain it.
- Rudy is quiet most of the time unless prompted to speak or threatened.
- He refused to eat steak for a long time.
- He can speak Spanish and often mutters prayers in Spanish when incredibly pissed.
LINKS
These two met during a freak snake attack, where Noah saved Rudy before they were both bitten. Rudy never expected to enjoy Noah's company, but the magician grew on him over time. With Noah's considerable self-esteem issues, Rudy finds himself offering advice to help Noah a little in his own way. Noah notices and appreciates this effort by staying loyal to Rudy's wishes and goals, being the first to support him whenever he has a suggestion.
Rudy and Ivy met at the same cave, since he and Noah were traveling partners. To Ivy, Rudy was just a grumpy man who needs some cheering up! She constantly tries (sometimes successfully) to make him smile or laugh. Eventually, Rudy warms up to her, and she's unsurprisingly the one he trusts most to take care of his kids later on.
Motivated by a common goal, Rudy and Susie have much in common from their hatred of cows. Therefore, they work together to eliminate every last one of them. Even after they succeed at their goal, Rudy and Susie still keep in contact with each other, and Susie often acts as the badass aunt to his kids.
One day, while Rudy was out taking time off from Ivy and Noah, he ran into a young woman named Cory. During the short time they encountered each other, they had a wild adventure beating up Hellcows in a cave. From that point on, the two became fast friends, which eventually developed into a beautiful romance. These two eventually build a family and have twins named Austin and Betty. (OC by Abricot_confit)
