Tori Carter ~ Hope
About
Slow and steady wins the race! Tori Carter might not be fast, but she is a dedicated fighter with lots of strength in her arms. Being a Turtle Tamer, Tori fights with her, well, tamed turtles and her mighty Turtle Staff with the code name “Hope.” She lives in the mysterious and magical Kingdom of Loathing and works as an adventurer with her five other friends.
What started as a clingy ex turned into something not wonderful, but something with blood and guts and adventuring excitement. As a young woman, Tori's view of life and relationships was that she had to accomodate and follow the flow of others. However, after a disastrous relationship, she ended up with a completely new worldview a desperate ex.
In order to stop her stupid crusty ex from following her, Tori trained to be a Turtle Tamer in order to become closer with animals and kick ass (specifically her ex’s). On an unexpected day, she stumbled across a house being invaded by feral monsters and decided to help defend it -- only to find Teresa and David behind the door. Starting from there, she became fast friends with the rest of the squad and joined along their group.
Leaders of the kingdom, the Council of Loathing, assigned quests to the group, each training them for the day they would defeat the Naughty Sorceress. How will Tori assert herself against the new dangers? read it in the literature tab lmao i already finished it

Combat
Tori’s main attacks come from her trusty Turtle Totem and her helpful turtle friends. She is a powerful tank unit, typically taking the role of shielding her friends while they deal big blows.

Tori is caring, often acting as the mother of the group. Still, just like her turtles, she is often stubborn and sticks to her ideals before she's forced to change it. In a group setting, she's often the one to keep the motivation and spirits together, always encouraging her friends to put in their full effort. Being slightly older than the rest, she also offers advice and wisdom the others may not know.
Though Tori may come off as headstrong, she still makes sure to help her friends and act as a stable support for them in battle and life.

Trivia
- Teresa is the most muscular out of the group and the strongest physically.
- While Cassidy is technically the "leader" of the group, she is more of a wine aunt, while Tori is more like the group mom.
- Tori's pickiness comes from being raised in a section of the kingdom where there were virtually no interesting foods.
- She is the one who most often does or assigns chores in the house.
- She also gets pranked the most, but everyone would agree that she's the most caring. They just like to show their affection by being jerks LOL

Tori and Cassidy didn’t meet formally until late into their stories, but they’re still great friends. Since Tori is a picky eater, Cassidy has made it her goal to cook foods that would get her picky friend to expand her palette and try some new cuisine.
Tori always pushes Teresa to try harder due to her laid-back nature, to which Teresa responds with silly pranks, often recruiting others to team up against Tori. In the end, Teresa does work harder to assure Tori that her words are not falling on deaf ears.
David and Tori, being the oldest of the group, understand each other in a way. However, Tori constantly teases David for his lack of romantic maturity, and jokingly tries to teach him how to handle any possible dates or romantic interactions.
Out of all the members in the team, Ava loves to torment Tori the most with pranks. Tori always exaggerates her reactions for the theatrics, but both know that it's just silly harmless pranks. Ava also claims that Tori reminds her a lot of a family member, which is particularly why she picks on Tori so much.
As members of the Muscle class, Allison and Tori share many stories and similarities. Tori finds Allison entertaining, especially with her displays of strength and unique outlook on everyday life compared to the others in the group. She gives personal permission to Allison for pranks!
