Personality

Spiri has been wandering the oceans of Silvarum for as long as she can remember. With her crew by her side and a ship to call her own, she's quite excited to go on a great many adventures and explore the known (and unknown) seas! Spiri is an energetic, bright cat with a heart of gold (and for gold). It's a good thing, too - if she didn't have such a kind view on others she'd probably have become a pirate. Instead, she's the keeper of peace, and uses her skills with words and problem solving to assist the various creatures in the Fragments.

She's quite acrobatic and loves hopping all over the ship, while checking up on everyone. Although she has to spend most of her time while sailing at the wheel, and not running around, it gives her a lot of time to speak with others and think about life. Spiri can think about things for ages, and she's almost always planning out some grand new adventure in her head. Her mind never stops working, to the point where it's hard for her to fall asleep at night. She might be a bit intense, but she's a good captain, and is well respected by the rest of her crew.

History

Spiri was quite young when she joined the crew of the Wanderlust. Her parents hadn't been very kind people, and had sent her off to make her own way in life very quickly. She started off just scrubbing the deck, but soon rose in the ranks, and by the age of 20, she was the first mate. Under the captain, she helped lead the cats on a great many adventures. They were traders at the time, and carried cargo from island to island. It could get boring at times, when there was nothing but open ocean around them, but they got to see so many new places, meet new people, and hang out as a wonderful team.

She loved singing sea shanties and traveling from place to place. It was quite the good life, and all was well. One day, however, the group made a trip up to the Fragments, a series of islands known for trouble, and were attacked as soon as they landed ashore by a group of bandits. Not all of the crew managed to get back onboard the Wanderlust and sail away. Among those who were killed was Spiri's mentor and the leader of the whole group - the captain.

When the cats escaped, Spiri was promoted as the new captain. She felt a bit lost at first, but decided that the cats could do something to try and bring peace to the islands where so much chaos had happened. They started slow, talked with various folks, and eventually became the peacekeepers of the place. In between bringing items from place to place, they return to the islands and help out however they can. It's not the kind of life Spiri was expecting she would lead, but it's great fun, and when she and her crew go out on a brand new adventure, she can't wait to see what will happen.
