Personality

Devi is a kind, encouraging lion, and even though she can be a bit overprotective of her brother, it's really because she means the best for him. She's knowledgeable about the world and wise with all the life experience she's been through. After her whole life spent wandering the world and finding her own path, she's proud of what she's accomplished, and isn't afraid to let other lions know about that.

Despite all her experience and wisdom, she hasn't learned any patience over time. She still wishes that things could happen when she wants, and that her brother could be better, even though she has no idea what she can do for him besides be helpful and fight the battles that he cannot. Perhaps one day she'll be able to understand the importance of waiting, but for now, she takes things as they come and does her best to keep things moving.

History

Devi and her brother Etzel have been fighting battles, and being warriors, for all of their lives. Their parents were believers in sending their children off into the world early. Perhaps that wasn't a great choice, but it certainly helped shape the siblings into who they are today. The two were sent to find their own way in life young, and became warriors and partners in crime very quickly.

They dwelled in the forests of the Sunglow kingdom, and caught all the food they needed. The two were always together, and even though they had their arguments at times, they supported each other. Life was good, and for many years, they stayed on their own, in the woods. Eventually, though, they began to grow older, and catching prey and fighting grew harder.

Not to mention, Etzel's eyesight began to grow worse and worse. Concerned for her brothers' safety, Devi looked around Silvarum for a place that they could go. She heard of Starheart's Regiment, of the fighting lions that could use the experience that her and her brother had. It seemed perfect.

So she packed up all of their belongings, and together the two went to this brand new place, to see what would happen.
