Psyche is a trickster, a lion off to see new things for her own gain. For now, her goals align with those of the Regiment, so it's there that she stays. She's a master of stealth, at staying hidden in the shadows - so much so that some lions think it's magic that lets her do such tricks. But she's also a master of conversation - as ominous as Psyche may seem, she still manages to endear herself to most of the Regiment. Through a mix of compliments, lies, and telling tall tales of her life back with the army of decay in another world, she's a fascinating figure to many of the younger lions, and some of the older ones, too. Brontes is glad to have her fighting for them, but he isn't quite sure how things will end. Psyche is on her own path, and getting into all sorts of delightful trouble on the way.

History

Psyche grew up in the realm of the trinity tree - this odd land with a colorful sky and bright grass. She spent her time fighting for the army of decay, although over time, her resolve faltered. This lion was a fighter, but she liked to fight for a purpose. The endless battle between these two armies went on and on, and Psyche found herself wanting it to be over, for people to understand each other. She wanted to go off on a new adventure - which is why it was so perfect when felines were summoned by the tree of life from another world. She kept an eye on two cats in particular - a lion named Calypso and a cat named Barley - and when she found a good time, she introduced herself to them, and got to know what they were like.

They told her of a world beyond, of a series of islands in an endless sea. Psyche found it fascinating, and once the fight had ended and both trees had burned, she had decided her future for herself. She came back through the portal with the others, and set about making a home for herself among the Regiment's lions.
