Shahira is very happy to tell you about herself and her abilities. There's a charm in her eyes, a twist in her smile, and a thousand stories in her head. She sees the world as against her, and gladly trades information to keep herself afloat (and to a lesser extent now, the Regiment). A story for a story is often her trade. She's a bit more of an unconventional Artisan - most of her crafts are made through words, with a couple of drawings to help her remember the things she learns.

She's confident, and believes in herself to get by, and make the most of her life. She still isn't sure if she trusts this group of lions, but she's willing to assist them while life has led her to them. Until the call of adventure brings her out to explore and learn again, her place is bringing light to the warriors when they return from battle.

History

This is a lion who's been on her own, until recently, for as long as she could remember. She grew up a thief, stealing what she needed to get by in life. The lawless town of Peaceful was the perfect place for a criminal to hide, and she dwelled there for a time, until some of the police of Starheart swept through the town and arrested several folks, including Shahira. She was let off with a fine (most of what she had), and a warning, and came to the conclusion that it was time to do something more with her life.

She began to gain what she needed to survive by trading stories. An ex-thief had a lot of tales to tell, and when she told a story and drew a picture, she often was able to hear other stories in return. There were only so many stories out there, though, so many people to talk to, and when she heard tell of a group of lions who fought monsters, she saw a brilliant opportunity. Shahira made her presence known to Brontes and his Regiment, and settled in to a new era in her life. It was an odd place, but she lived for the journey.
