Likes: Video games (especially shoot 'em ups), ice skating, ponies, robots, romance stories, giant robot anime, and baking.

Dislikes: Hot weather, Lightning (at first), someone hurting her family, broken technology, and the desert.

Personality: Light is generally a sweet, somewhat tomboyish girl. She is the most outgoing out of her siblings and has a large social life. However, Light gets angry easily and is known to use her fists when provoked. She desperately wants change this aspect of herself, but finds it difficult due to the presence of annoying characters around her. She is fiercely protective of her younger brothers (and later Lightning) and will not let anyone who's hurt them off the hook easily. However, early into the story Light has a tendency to not believe Sketches about his adventures, but later realizes he wasn't lying when he meets Swirly herself. Light is also known to be a bit of a romantic, and is known to gush over cute boys she likes.

History: Light is the oldest child in her family and has two younger brothers: Dark and Sketches. Her parents are famous inventors and are often away from home for long periods of time, leaving her in charge. However, she rarely has to do much since her brothers are rather well behaved. When Sketches suddenly brings Lightning home one day, Light is initially a bit hostile towards him and worries that he'll be a bad influence on her brother. Despite this, Light eventually starts to look after Lightning like her other brothers, and becomes glad that Sketches is finally making friends.

Current-Bio: After graduating from high school, Light starts dedicating more of her time towards learning mechanics and coding, even building a robot at one point. She looks after her brothers and Lightning, but does express occasional annoyance on how new people keep moving into their house (first Lightning, then Sparky...etc). When not at home, she's often seen with her friends or an a date. Later in the story, she even joins Sketches and Lightning on some adventures.

Meta-History: Light was created around the same time as Sketches, and like the other Chaos Puffs she was based on a Chao from Sonic Adventure 2 Battle (although they were referred to as  "Eggies" until sometime in the 2010's.). Light's design is directly  based on the neutral hero Chao, and her old design had blue markings on the ends of her hands, feet, and antennae/horns(??). She also used to have a halo (sometimes it was yellow and other times it was blue). Other than losing these traits, her design has changed very little over the  years. Character-wise, Light hasn't changed too much over the years. Once it was established that she was Sketches' older sister, she had a sisterly personality towards him but a bad temper for others. Light's temper was inspired by Sakura from Naruto (a trait she shares with Shelly). An older version of the story had Light be Sketches' adoptive older sister instead. In one of the original backstories, she and the other chaos puffs were students of Swirly's that went looking for her after she went missing.

Relationships with Other Characters:

Swirly: Light had heard all about "Snail-Girl" for a long time from Sketches and Lightning, and spent a long time doubting her existence as nothing more than a made up story. However, at one point in the story Light finally meets Swirly, and realizes that she was real all along! The two eventually become good friends.

Sketches: Light is very protective of Sketches and will not tolerate him getting hurt. She often worried about him prior to the start of the story due to him being a shut-in. She initially doesn't believe much of what takes place on his adventures, but later realizes he was telling the truth about all of them. She sometimes worries that his friends are a bad influence on him (mostly Lightning) but later realizes that Sketches doesn't take on any of their negative traits.

Lightning: Light and Lightning did not get along at first at all. The two often spiral into petty arguments, bets, and competitions much to Sketches' (and sometimes Sparky's) dismay. Lightning is also known to break the devices she gives him, much to her anger. Eventually Light begins to see Lightning as sort of an adopted brother and becomes nicer to them, but the two never completely stop getting on each others nerves. Let's just say it's not ideal to pin two tsunderes against each other.

Dark: Light is very close to her brother. The two hang out with each other often, and get along very well. Light sometimes claims that Dark still talks to her when they're alone, but has been unable to prove this.

Sparky: At first, Light was not happy to have another stranger move in with them (especially someone related to Lightning) but quickly realizes that Sparky is quite different from Lightning and relaxes. Light and Sparky become quick friends and hang out often.

Thunder: Light doesn't know much about Thunder for a long time, but has a short-lived crush on him.

Sakai: Light doesn't know what to think of Sakai due to the girl mysteriously appearing and disappearing with no warning.

Jade: Light is a little uneasy around Jade knowing that she was formerly her brother's enemy, but the two eventually become friends.

Seville: Light is sometimes seen going on dates with Seville, but their dates never go anywhere.
