“I know of Devidan’s encounter with Keroth. While it is a matter that concerns me, I have no reason to hold a grudge against him. Devidan is an honorable man, a hunter that deserves the respect he has earned. Besides, Keroth is a strong man. Such a misunderstanding would not take him down so easily.”
"Batamelek is one of the most honorable beings in all of Shurima. His quest to defend the artifacts of his masters even after all this time is a highly respectable act. I only hope he holds no grudge against me for my... dealings with Keroth. I do not think I could win in a battle against Batamelek and the last thing I need is to be slain for a foolish and juvenile mistake."
"If by me you mean the lounge then... yes, we're quite successful, know that you are always welcome to stop by for a drink"
“Ah, Aldaun. Long time no see. Seems little Hal is taking good care of you.” Melisa kept an innocent face, but her eyes were knowing.
"Melisa, it's lovely tae hear from ye~. Sometime we need tae get some free drinks from the desperate men that go tae the clubs around here. You won't be leavin Zaun without some new goodies. That I promise ye, darlin."
"Heeeey, Patty Cake! I hope you're holding down the fort in Zaun... You're not out there causing trouble, are you? Because if not, you need to fix that. Maybe I ought to stick around and cause some havoc with you."
"Melisa, you know better than to wander through the jungles alone. I know you can take care of yourself but between the risk of running into my plants and Khaleen's thralls, you're really playing a dangerous game. I enjoy your visits but next time, please send me a signal in advance so I can escort you safely. The last thing I need is something happening to you."
“Aww, you’re worried about little ol’ me? It’s cute. You forget that I grew up in these jungles too, honey. I’m a big enough girl. Though, don’t get me wrong, I do appreciate your offer. It’s nice to be lead around by a cutie pie like you.”
The moment her eyes lock onto his, a bright blush spreads across his face. He loses his usual composure and arrogance as she approaches him. "H-hello Melisa. You look... lovely as ever tonight."
"Is that you, Sin? Wow, look at you! We have been much too busy lately, haven't we?" She laughed and slightly tilted her head. She always noticed the change in his disposition, but never made it known that she did. "Tell me when and where your next show is, Sinny. I'll try not to miss it."
"Ha! You think you make them nervous? If anything, Melisa; A pretty lady like you makes them perform even better! It's always a pleasure to have you in the audience. Tell me you'll stay for a drink after?"
Melisa relaxed in her seat and took a sip of the drink in her hand. “I heard that you were going to have a doozy of a show tonight, Nadire. I wouldn’t miss something like that, you know. I hope I don’t make your performers nervous like last time…”
"I don't often ask people to let me give them a tattoo but you? I'd be honored to even give you a hand tattoo, much as I hate doing them. You've got a gorgeous canvas, Melisa."
“I’d have to think about that one, sweetheart, but I do thank you. If anything, I enjoy your work very much. I’d put these designs on the wall.”
"Melisa, the gorgeous woman you are, how are you doing today? Do tell me if anyone gives you a hard time, darling."
“You and your brother have been very welcoming to me. I do appreciate the generosity.”
"You--" She spots her and tenses up, but she forces herself to keep her composure. "..... I-I can't do this, is this.. This has to be some sort of--" Divine Punishment? Maybe. Flux has to stop herself before she breaks down. Instead, she forces herself to look back her way. "I'm sorry." She just takes off after saying that.
"Ah, yes, her face is familiar... Heheh, oh, she's the little girl from all those years ago! She is very fortunate that I was in a good mood that day."
"When I was a little girl, my mother and I encountered her. I was scared to death. Not much frightens me, but I can tell you that even now, if I ever saw the fearsome Hafera again... Oh, I think I might be scared out of my wits. Nope. I'm out of there."
"I already said that you can't call me that."
"Are you good now, or are you going to need me to go over there again, Lance?"
"Heheh, charming as ever, Mel. However, as fun as it was, I wasn't keen on you taking some of my things."
"Still tinkering with all of those toys, Blancy? Ever get tired of fondling machines? I can change that, honey, just like before..."
"You've worn everything my family has crafted so well, and for that, you are welcome here, Melisa."
"Your jewelry is impeccable, Cyran...and you know? You definitely are fun to talk to."
"Mel, some things are better left unsaid. You told me that before, remember?" Remus smirked. "I'd still like to invite you for a drink though."
"I heard that you moved back home; or rather, was sent back home. Are you sure that you don't want to give me all the juicy details, Remus?"
"I promise, I promise that I have more tact than this. I promise, I really do; but you have to understand my situation here: PLEASE. PLEASE LET ME HIT. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE LET ME HIT."
"Oh? Hahaha, Raze Miven? Yes, I have heard much about you. Who hasn't heard of a Miven at this point? You seem awfully out of breath... I thought Noxian soldiers had more stamina than that."
"Ah, my dearest, most trusted friend! Your companionship is beyond invaluable to me, and I truly do owe you my very life. You make my every day experience infinitely more enjoyable, and the thought of living without you is a terribly upsetting one. Though, ah," He pauses for a moment, thinking, "as for your offer, I do think it would be a tad harder to read with a woman in my lap?"
"Aren't you glad that nobody ever bothers you thanks to me? You're so welcome, Ezy. Now you can just study the day away and ramble on about magic and other booky stuff like nobody can stop you; and perhaps, you'd want the company of a lovely woman on your lap while you do it?" Melisa winked, putting on her usual charming guise; but gods above, how she wanted to be close to him...
"So, let's say I were to ring the bell 6 times. Can I stay on your boat for like... a week? And just stare at you? Or more, whatever you're into."
“I was no good man. My life was run by greed and selfishness. By the time I realized the remorse in my heart, it was too late. Your words are wise, great teacher; but as confident as I may become, it will not change the nature of my existence, nor of my punishment. Use your talents on those who deserve it. Allow the living to thrive; and allow the dead to pay what they owe.”
"You speak too negatively of yourself, please stop that. You remind me of one of the children I've trained. He showed a lot of potential and promise and was so dedicated to learning so he could help Nazuma. Once he learned to love and accept himself, he gained confidence in himself. You can and will leave such a positive impact on our world, you just need to convince yourself you can."
“I’m quite humbled by your praise, Nusesi! I am only doing what I can with what I’ve been given. If your students take inspiration from me, I’m truly honored; I just hope my appearance doesn’t make anyone nervous here.”
"You are quite the honorable man, Hendrishan! I just know they will tell your tales in a storybook. Your story is inspiring, and the feats you've accomplished are so admirable and hope inspiring. Shurima thanks you dearly for what you've brought to our world."
"Great teacher Nusesi, I do hope you have trained your students well. It will be a fun time guessing -- or even observing -- how long they will last against me when I finally reach them."
"You don't wish to underestimate me, I've helped fend off enemies just like you before. Every day is more growth. If you even *look* at any of the children in Nazumah, you will regret it, quickly."
"I wonder if any of the warrior-hunters are back from their travels yet. I would like to see if there's anything they've harvested that could be useful for you and your medicine craft. If not, I think a tea break would be lovely, wouldn't you agree?"
"My brother mentioned him often whenever he came back from competing at the arena. I didn't know the horse part of his insults were... literal. I should apologize in his behalf someday, but I can't bring myself to go near the arena."
"It is an honor to be well received by you and your students, Nusesi. I may not be able to visit them, but you and your children are more than welcome to take a field trip to my residence if they wish to learn techniques from days of old."
"The school children I train have taken quite the liking to you. I didn't expect you to be someone who works so well with children! I wish I had the heart to tell them that I'm not someone who knows your methods, and that I'm likely not gonna have you visit them as a guest."
