"An old friend."
Apollo met Nova when she hopped worlds into the Dreamlands one day, ages before they created Zaintis, becoming friends with them. When the laws of the Dreamlands trapped them within its boundaries, the pair became even closer. Nova aided with the creation of Zaintis and occasionally comes to visit the god whilst they rest in the cosmos.
“Hi again Apollo!”
As a world hopper, Nova eventually landed themselves into the Dreamlands, meeting Apollo. The two were able to bond well, nova sharing stories of all the different worlds, watching Apollos creations. Even when trapped within this new realm, they grew closer. Aiding in creations, watching over their minor deity.
A rather unlikely friendship
"I don't know what their connection with my master is but they're quite friendly."
Apollonius wasn't expecting Nova to one day strike up conversation with them but they seemed quite aware of Apollonius' relation to Apollo, claiming to be long friends of theirs. Apollonius isn't sure of this but tries their best to be polite throughout Nova's persistent attempts to befriend them.
“You remind me a lot of your creator!”
Nova is rather, persistent, on creating a bond with Apollonius, despite their minor dislike to it. They intrigue her a lot, a minor deity stepping in for a resting god, and as a friend of their creator, they take quite pride in helping or watching over them. They are desperate for friends in this new world they’ve been forced to reside within.
"My disciple. I trust that they are doing a good job."
When Apollo needed to rest, ze created Apollonius to manage Zaintis whilst they rested in the infinite cosmos. They have not checked up on them in a while yet they are confident their creation is managing their world well.
"My creator and master. I hope I can do them proud..."
Apollonius has a lot of respect for Apollo and the creation they've made. Whilst xe struggle with the feeling that they have done nothing to earn the control of Zaintis, they still try as hard as xe can to make it what Apollo wanted it to be.
My brother! He's definitely not as cool as I am but it's alright, I love him anyway!
Rom's going to get himself into serious trouble one day... I love him but- I'm worried-
Lazarus only views Laszlo as someone who respects his ideals, a rare sight for him. They are on amicable terms. He doesn't know what he did to him.
Laszlo has spoken to Lazarus a few times, possibly for fun or to toy with what he created. He seems to engage in Lazarus' ideas, although not truly believing them himself
As much as he would refuse to admit it, Altair views Faye like a daughter, feeling as though it is his responsibility to protect her from the horrors of the express and Astrophel's deadly nature. Although he is well aware she is a lot smarter and more aware than her persona lets on, he seems to deny it, viewing her as his child in his eyes. He enjoys spending time with her and would do anything to protect her.
Faye genuinely enjoys Altairs company. Both of them working in the engine compartment, they spend a lot of time together, both when the train is running and when it has stopped. She sees him as a kind of father figure, asking him a lot of questions about things her real father should've taught her. The pair really enjoy watching the galaxy from the train windows. They have both found peace together in the unfortunate situation they're both trapped in.
Just as he does with Altair, Astrophel views nothing wrong with what they've done to Faye. He thinks she's a sweet soul and is obsessed with her super soft fur, lovingly comparing it to his fox hears and tail.
Faye in no way trusts Astrophel, knowing the bad he's done and still has not forgiven him for ruining her life at the orphanage. However, he does somewhat thank him for bringing her onto the train, genuinely enjoying it and the views that come with it.
Astrophel enjoys talking to Altair and sees nothing wrong with what they've done to him.
Altair couldn't hate Astrophel enough. He hated his casual attitude to horrible things, his careless acts to those he views as less than him and his impact on his life. If he could be free of him, he would.
Cass is well aware Faye is putting on a facade but doesn't bother to break it. The two don't interact much.
Faye tries to comfort Cass the best she can and is in a firm denial that they can see right through her facade. The two don't interact much
Cass seems to enjoy Altairs company. Both soul's pessimism bouncing off each other. They both wish they had a better life. Cass sees him as a trustworthy figure.
Altair feels sorry for the child and wishes nothing but the best for them. They try not to interact too much with the child but does warn them regarding The Conductor. He is very adamant to stand up to Astrophel regarding their safety, even if it endangers himself
Cass isn't sure whether Astrophel is to be trusted. Whilst he may act sweet and kind to them, they've seen him act irrational and violent behind the scenes.
Whilst he may act cheery and happy towards them, Astrophel is deeply unsettled and enraged by the existence of Cass. He does not know why they are stuck on the train and that scares him as he has never been in a position where he doesn't know something well in advance before, especially not with his train.
Nick has done a lot for me.. I don't know how i could ever repay him. I'll get out of that place one day and we can run away...
Loren is a sweetheart. He despises the hell hole he works at and struggles a lot that he cannot do anything to stop it or leave. I hope he can get out of there some day, or I guess I'll have to beat up the son of a bitch in charge.
Atlas greatly enjoys Vacace's company, unaware that they balance the nature of their forest. They treat it as well as they possibly can, as much as Vacace insists it does not deserve it.
Vacace always insists it does not deserve Atlas' kind actions. They do not understand why someone like Atlas would care for it.
What a fun fellow! Hehe- I love visiting them every once in a while! I somehow only catch them when their friends aren't around, that's kind of sad... Maybe it's a laws of the universe thing? No matter! I don't know why they keep scowling at me though, I'm only here to have fun! I give them money too!
That guy? Ah, yes. They say that they are another 'version' of me, but I don't believe it for a second. In what universe of the many that may exist, would I ever act like that? They give us some cash sometimes, but it doesn't even work here, so it's more like just cheap metal scraps.
Weirdo. No, wait, I mean that in a good way! They pretend they don't care about us sometimes, but if they didn't, they'd leave. I think they're pretty cool, as much as they don't think so. I wish they'd trust people a little more often, though, I don't need them thinking every package we get is out to get us, honestly.
Too trusting. He's a good kid, I can tell, but he's very open to other people, I don't know how he can do it. Does he not think that some people aren't as good as they first appear? I think he could open up to a stranger in a heartbeat. I could never... He said I'm too untrusting? I'm just keeping myself safe, that's all.
They're so cool! I wanna wear their glasses but they won't let me, which is sad, but one day I'll get big and strong and I'll grab em! Their horns are also really cool but they always seem just a little bit cautious around everyone...
The kid is... a lot, to deal with, but I know they mean well. I need to find out what that strange eye is. When I do, maybe we can use it for something, or know if it's a threat. I wish they'd stop asking for my glasses though. Do I like them? Mm, I suppose.
Safe. Like me, they don't trust people much... but they're much more harsh about it. I think they could do with trying to open up a little more... I know they've had it rough, but that doesn't mean they should isolate themself...
Nervous trainwreck, honestly. They're cautious because they knew nothing about this world and still don't know much. I can see they're trying to be more trusting though. I just can't afford to let my guard down that much.
Raine, like most children in Amphidore, was terrified of the idea of Kailani, a terrifying monster that steals children to do god knows what to them. However, once they met them, they realised they were not that at all. The pair have a somewhat strong bond, Kailani teaching Raine how to survive in the deep dark. Raine has not seen her for a while, however.
Kailani took pity on Raine as soon as she saw them in the dark sea. They felt the urge to aid them, knowing a child like that would not last long in the dark. She trained the small child to survive in the depths of Amphidore but has not returned to them in a while. She hopes they are still safe.
Mako is very impressed with how easily Yuki can slip in and out of their online persona and gets along well with them
Yuki and Mako have met up quite a few times as they live quite close to each other. Yuki thinks Mako is very funny and loves streaming with him.
Yuki gets along pretty well with Briar behind the screen. The pair stream together quiet often, having a fake banter between them.
Briar thinks Yuki's online persona is quite cute, enjoying taunting her on stream. Behind the cameras however, the pair actually get along very well.
Noah cares a lot about Silas. Despite wishing he'd believe the very obvious evidence of ghosts he collects, Noah loves spending time with him and thinks he is very funny.
Silas cares a lot about Noah. Despite taunting him about his 'evidence', he loves spending time with him.
Mako thinks Briar's streams are great fun and loves watching them. They have streamed with them quite a few times, yet they are not close friends yet.
Briar would love to get to know more about Mako and stream with him more often.
I don't know where Woop came from or who his parents are but I- I'm going to try be as close to a father to him as possible until I do!
Dad!
