- Lots of placeholder text in the character profile - I don't judge anyone for this because it's understandable when a character is under construction and I think most everyone with detailed profiles has done it at some point, but it's still kind of annoying to run into.
- "Content warning" that isn't an actual content warning. This goes for whether it's "don't steal!" or commissions info or a "warning" that is very vague like "Maybe some of my characters can upset someone!" with no further info. If the characters need a content warning you have to be specific about what it is, not everyone will be upset by the same thing. If they don't need a content warning, don't put one at all.
- Extremely restrictive permissions on a character that's been posted in an art game. I'm not talking reasonable stuff like keeping their body type accurate or not drawing them in certain outfits, I mean like, "all the colors have to be exactly the same and the style has to be the same and keep them in the same pose" type stuff. Don't post them in the art games if you don't want to see other people's interpretations of them.
- Big watermarks that prevent you from seeing the character. I'm sorry but if someone really wants to steal it they can edit those out, all they accomplish is making it impossible for anyone to see your character properly. This is even worse when the character is in an art game.
My own pet peeves when it comes to viewing people's toyhou.se profiles is when people use an image in the thumbnail and then not include it in the gallery.
It's annoying because sometimes the image in the thumbnail is a really good picture or even reference worthy and I just can't see it because it's not a viewable image. I have always made a big point in my profile design to include the character's thumbnail in my gallery or just dont have a thumbnail at all.

ocpdzim i agree with a lot of these! but for the last one i just wanna say that i think people do that to deter people from having the ability to mass steal art, or to save art to sell as nfts and stuff like that :O
obviously if someone wants to steal a single art piece they can edit it out but it makes it harder to steal more than one piece of art without having to take the time to edit.

I already hate warnings as they are bc of flashy images and massive DNI/BYI lists which should be saved for carrds or spoilered (I spoiler mine bc who ACtually reads it) or something but THAT in particular makes me wonder why I don't disable them all together sometimes
the people whos page doll blocks the bio and any information about the user or character. like? I can't read that shit unless I screenshot or read fast and I don't want to do either just to get information case it'll then block about half/whole parts.
super flashy/animated backgrounds on th profiles make the entire thing hard to read
uhh user profiles which re-arrange the locations of the stuff in the sidebar (bulletins, characters, subscribe/authorise) which makes it really difficult for me to locate them
overly coded/fancy pages honestly piss me off they're confusing to navigate. especially with super small fonts and completely reorganized layouts.
folders that aren't labeled bluntly, i don't want to click through a million emoji named folders for five minutes to find what i'm looking for
everyone has already said these but hidden images/overly watermarked refsheets (but this only bothers me when you're trying to sell an oc. it's sooo dumb)
annoying page warnings that're multiple paragraphs <3 sorry i'm not reading it and neither is anyone else. please make your warnings short and sweet, if i see i have to scroll through i'm just closing the page. jot dot that stuff!!!!
I too, dislike the eyestrain neon aesthetic html codes. The ones that especially animate in BG of the profile is irritating cause that makes my laptop lag itself out cause too much is going on at once. It's because of that is the reason I had disabled the custom CSS's in settings. Feels much better viewing people's profiles now.
Another thing I dislike is the ton of folders where its a "folder within a folder within a folder" thing when navigating through people's character tab pages lol. Shouldn't make it a complex game for people to find and check out your OCs they may wanna favorite and read about.
Last thing (even though it was already brought up) I don't like page dolls covering up the whole page of a character's profile or bio; they're cute yes but don't have to it so big to where it becomes a hinderance.
