I've seen a couple of threads where people can ask OCs questions. However, I thought it might be interesting if those questions covered more of the character's development without having to post multiple times to receive multiple questions.

1. How did you get French Fry and why did you name them that?
"Oh, haha, there's a story behind that. He was a hungry stray who was hanging around me and Heto once in Union Square. He stole a french fry from us so I fed him my hot dog and then he stayed by my side while I drummed... we couldn't leave him, not that I really wanted to, so I persuaded Heto to let me hide him in his backpack to smuggle him on the train back to the squat."
2. Why did you choose to dye your hair blue and would you consider any other colors?
"It was a wager, or a dare, or something? I don't know, but it was Luke's idea, him and Heto and me had to do it together. Honestly I'd never thought of dyeing my hair before that. It's ok I guess. I don't know what other colors I'd want to try, but maybe someday, yeah."
3. How did you end up with your nickname and who started calling you that?
"It's not really a positive nickname? It was... these kids I used to run with. I used to be... I got into a lot of trouble back then, I caused trouble for people, so they said I was their bane, like I was a curse. I don't... love it. They're not wrong, though-- they weren't wrong... so I've kept it. It's the nickname I deserve."
4. Do you ever have issues with the members of the band? What kinds of things do you argue about?
Bane looks sort of nervous. "Not yet; we haven't had any major disagreements yet. And I hope we don't."
5. If you couldn't be part of a band what kind of job would you want to have instead?
His eyes light up. "I wanted to be a teacher! I uh, screwed that up, I didn't even graduate high school. But I want to get my GED someday, and down the road, who knows? That would be cool. I'd want to help kids."

1. Curio has been around for a very, very long time. I’m not sure how old he is exactly, but somewhere in the 100,000’s of years.
2. Curio’s busy with his job most of the time, but when he can he likes to write. Curio really likes to write stories, and most of the time they’re true, as being an immortal god he’s seen a lot of weird things.
3. His happiest memories with Blade are probably when they were younger. They do really love each other, despite Blade being a bit moody and sarcastic. When they were younger they had more time to talk with each other and run around and do weird things like little siblings should.
4. Most of the time he needs a thing to bring to life. Viscets actually lay eggs, so most of the time it’s a egg that he’s giving life to. Occasionally it’s a dying or dead viscet, or an inanimate object. He can create life from nothing, but it’s a bit tiring for him, and he doesn’t really try that often.
5. Limbo is a interesting place. It’s a land above the sky but below the stars, and most people can’t access it. The actual landscape has lots of hills and cliffs and is actually quite pretty. All the stone, trees, and foliage of Limbo is pure snowy white, and the ground is covered in a layer of white dust, like snow but not wet or as crumbly. The atmosphere of Limbo is pretty cold, and you can see stars anytime, even during the day.

1: Why doesn't Micaiah like beets? Is there a story to it, or is it just a taste thing?
"I actually used to like beets a lot! But one time, durin' a particularly lean season, Papa somehow obtained twelve boxes of beets. 'Nappula,' he cried, 'we won't starve this winter! Cook your old man a feast and pickle the rest before they go bad!' And after that, for two months, we ate only beets. Candied beets, rosolli, borscht... oh, Gods, the borscht! So much borscht, and without as much as a head of cabbage to spice it up! By the time we ate it all my skin turned pink and Papa got gout. So that's why I don't like beets anymore."

"Feathers! Horns would imply I'm some sort of demonic being, a harbinger of the apocalypse, which I definitely am not!" The resemblance to horns is intentional. ;)

1. How does Aiden feel about his father?
Aiden barely knows anything about James, so he doesn't really have strong feelings against him. He feels like his life would be much easier with James in it, so he's somewhat bitter. However, he is still convinced his father is dead, and disliking him for this would make him petty.
2. What type of cookies are Aiden favorite?
Snickerdoodle is probably his favorite type of cookie. Anything with chocolate is favored as well.
3. How his relationship with his mothers?
Aiden has a much better relationship with Kiko (bio mother) than June (stepmother). He spends most of his time with Kiko, who taught him how to bake as well as other necessities. June, on the other hand, is harsher towards Aiden, mostly because she's sexist. He loves her, he just wants to be respected by her.
4. Why is he afraid of large crowds?
Aiden always associates large crowds as a negative thing. He gets beaten up a lot (and in roleplay, getting stabbed or shot). In addition, this boosts his anxiety because he hated interacting with people. Sometimes, he could get overwhelmed to the point where he get nauseous and/or passes out.
5. How often does Aiden get actual sleep?
Aiden usually gets about 4 hours of sleep. However, he also has medication to help with his insomnia. If he decides to take said medication, he could get 6 hours of sleep.

He likes to make bread! His baking is him working in a bakery, though I've not quite figured out the logistics; business has picked up since he got there, though, and he's acquired a bit of a fanbase! His bread probably isn't very special, but it is good, and I think he thinks those big round bread rolls are cute.
2. What do he and his husband like to do together for fun?
They just like being around one another, so he's open to anything, but they tend to go out a fair bit! Both of them really love hot springs, though.
3. Has he ever gotten the chance to openly talk about his experiences (like in the ways of therapy/getting it out)? Would he if he had the chance?
Yeah! He's actually pretty open about it if asked due to his inability to lie (though he doesn't enjoy talking about it, and the first time he did was the first time he cried in a... very long time-- eventually, he gets to the point where he can just talk about it, but it's an uphill battle), but he's really only told the whole story to his husband. Most people gather that he's seen some things and try to be careful, but they're also probably too polite to ask. He's definitely had some public outbursts, too. If he had the chance to get actual help, he'd likely be open to it; he ultimately just wants peace, so if it helps, he'll take it (he's currently got an in-universe stand-in for meds in the form of a magically-calming tea, though much like irl, it's not flawless, it mostly just makes the world easier to deal with rather than making his problems go away entirely).
4. What does he like to do around the house when his husband isn't there (given he's a house husband)?
He cooks and cleans, but he's overzealous and ends up wearing himself out. He really can fall asleep anywhere. If he's somehow decided that the house is spotless, he's taken up arts and crafts, as well as journaling and writing letters, though his reading comprehension is.. sort of weak. It's getting better.

You're absolutely right! His sleep schedule is beyond disastrous (he's prone to waking up at weird times due to nightmares, though he'll also sometimes just wake up for seemingly no reason and say weird things), but he's defo an early bird! He gets up super early regardless of how he slept. It's a talent.

What are some of his favorite songs to sing?: ones he wrote himself! while he most commonly performs songs that are meant to be funny, or for drinking and partying to, he has a few that he wrote that are serious, and quite beautiful, but he's not sure if he'll get the chance to share them
Does he have anybody in particular he interacts with a lot or even considers a friend?: yes! he knows another dainty that he happened to meet by pure chance. he would consider him his friend, despite how different their circumstances are.
When he tells stories, does he tell made up stories or draw them from his experiences?: mix of both! some stories he makes up, because he thinks they'd be entertaining. for others, if something interesting happened to him recently, he'll draw on that and exaggerate it a little to make it more fun to listen to
How often does he have to move from place to place, considering the newfound target on his back? Does he get chased often?: he's actually...a little unaware he's being hunted. he moves from place to place already, just to look for new sources of fun. he's made smaller enemies (people who he rubbed the wrong way with his jokes, etc) that ultimately don't really remember him, but he'll move on if something like that happens. he's never dealt with something like this before though, and isn't aware he's being followed
What kind of secrets does he know that the Lord he performed for doesn't want him to know?: what he really is. that character is still a little under development, but he made a pact with something...not so great so he could live out the life he wanted, at the expense of literally anyone else. paschal learned this about him, and saw some things he'd really rather not recall, but doesn't think to tell anyone about it.

THESE ARE GOOD ASS QUESTIONS ok im gonna put this under a hide box. warning for mentions of abuse
1. i know this is more about plum then her, but was there any particular reason plum bullied her so harshly? was olive aware of this reason, or did she draw different conclusions?
plum and olive are fraternal twins, so plum knows more about olive than any of their other sisters. olive was always more timid than the rest of the family's kids. she got more attention than plum while needing less of it, and that planted the seed of plum's feelings of envy and loathing. plum dealt with a lot of sensory issues as a kid that went unchecked, along with her peers teasing her for being fat and for not understanding social cues. (she had undiagnosed autism for a long time - i'm also autistic so i feel confident writing about that particular aspect of her.)
she had no outlet to deal with this and never got adequate help, so she resorted to acting out at home, and she deemed olive an easy target. as time went on and she realized there weren't any consequences for her actions that she could see, so she assumed that what she was doing was okay. then things just continued to escalate
2. how does she feel about her mostly absent mother? was their father never there?
her dad was only present for a couple years when she was VERY little, leaving before she turned four. he never really interacted with the family after that, so she doesn't really feel anything in particular towards him. can't miss what you never really had - she hardly remembers what he was even like and she doesn't really mind that he's gone.
her mother is still present in her life, being one of the only people supporting the family financially aside from bonbon, even as her daughters start to head into their late twenties. she doesn't feel much resentment towards her, and more feels like it's her fault that she's always busy because she doesn't have a job. she's unable to work because of all of her mental stuff and chronic pain, but she still feels as though she has some sort of obligation to work anyway. when she was smaller, she thought it was normal that her mom was gone so often, so she didn't really think about it much and just appreciated her (annoyed her loudly along with the rest of her sisters) while she was home.
3. is there any particular reason she dislikes cats?
yep! it's another thing that ties back into plum. plum has a HUGE affinity for cats and feeds the strays around the city, and in adulthood, she actually volunteers at an animal shelter to work with cats. she also likes to sneak in strays from outside even though their mom HATES it when she does, and they often only really trust her, and not anyone else in the house. because of that, olive has had a LOT of bad experiences with cats and associates them heavily with her abuse. she actually has a phobia of them
4. what are some of the ways she tries to 'escape' from reality, aside from her poetry and guitar? does she like to read? listen to music? sit back and imagine?
all of the above, yes! she has an old phone that she uses to listen to music as she walks, and it's usually cheesy indie music that nobody would actually admit listening to. she also loves folk music! she also sometimes reads fantasy books or romances, but she doesn't do that as often as she'd like because of how emotionally intense books can be. she doesn't really have the creative muscle to daydream about full stories or characters, but she's constantly full of lyric fragments and song ideas, usually scribbling them down with ideas of chord progressions in a little journal she carries around.
she also just loves to walk along paths or through natural parks or just sit by some water to turn her brain off and just enjoy the sunshine. it's more of a grounding exercise, but it helps her escape from thoughts of home and her past and just lets her be in the moment... not too in the moment though, she's prone to tripping over everything from roots to her own feet!
5. what led her to picking up guitar in the first place? how did she get her first one?
her very first guitar was one of those kiddie guitars with the strings and basic chords labeled in rainbow stickers, given to her by her mom on christmas! she proceeded to annoy her entire family by loudly and badly playing her beloved out-of-tune guitar while trying to learn the songs in the little booklet that came with it. she's had an interest in music since she was little, and expressed wanting to learn an instrument - she initially just chose guitar because she thought it would be easiest, but quickly developed a genuine passion for it. nowadays, she plays guitar a lot better, and sometimes it brings back a lot of good nostalgia.

1. So how was Celeste's current situation... created? (I assume this is a Danny Phantom fanOC and seem to have some methods listed on the Wikia about how half-ghosts are made). Has she always been a halfa? Or is this something more traditional and, like, she's technically in a coma or something and her spirits is just unattached to her body and roaming around?
In her 'lore', as you could call it, i was putting up potential plot-points as to how a person could become half ghost, i headcannoned that the northern lights would definitely carry SOME sort of spectral energy. the basic gist behind her half-death was that she climbed an extremely tall, abandoned tower in order to touch the northern lights, and the spectral energy that passed through her body turned her!
2. Does she switch between ghost and human or permanently half? If so, how does phasing through things work?
Celeste often spends time in her ghost form, as she doesn't currently have a home in the human world, so she wanders the ghost zone, her natural curiosity making it so that she tries do document ancient artifacts and beings. phasing through things works better when in her ghost half, but she can do just as well in her human form.
3. What are the advantages and disadvantages her powers give her?
the advantages of her powers are basic ghost things, flying, intangibility, invisibility, and various ectoplasmic attacks and shields. a main disadvantage of being half ghost is that she has very little control of her powers, as she had just recently gotten them, and stays in the ghost zone in order to not hurt anyone, and avoid being hunted down.
4. Why doesn't she like geese :(
i actually put this small detail in because i'm also canadian, and i just love the "evil canadian geese" memes, because holy COW can they get aggressive
5. Any knowledge of canon characters? If so, any opinions on Danny Phantom himself if she's heard of him?
She has met with a few of the canon characters, such as Technus, who she bargained with for a PDA that tracks paranormal hotspots, Spectra, who she takes great care to avoid, and Skulker, as he was bound to find out about her existence one way or another. She has heard of the other two half ghosts, and she thinks that its noble of Danny to protect his town. she is also jealous of the other two, though she would never admit it, as they have stable places to live, and people who care about them, be it a pet, or just friends.
