I’m not one to really base my ocs off of actual people, but Dauson is an exception. He was somewhat inspired by an old friend of mine.
Are any of your characters based on people in real life? Not necessarily the whole character, but maybe they share speech patterns with your friend, or personality quirks with your brother, or you gave them the same haircut as a girl in your class-- I'm just curious about the little ways we put our own lives into our characters!

This dude is based on me. Literally what I would look like probably if I was born a cis guy (I wish lol). His story is also based on my life (it's not uploaded to his profile yet) and he's one of the three main protagonists in my visual novel game I'm making.
Pretty much all of my characters are have a lot of attributes from me, be it personality wise, history/backstory wise, etc. I guess making them is a way for me to cope and project lmao
I do have some loosely based off family members or friends, but they don't have profiles yet.
Gabbi's interests in gaming and cosplay are both inspired by 2 friends I've known for years, they both share her skin tone but her eye color is inspired by a classmate I shared a class with for a semester then fell off the face of the earth. finally her freckles were a little extra pizazz peppered in.
This guy is based on Maury Terry! He was the main person in investigating the case of the 44. Caliber killer and figuring out that it was David Berkowitz. :)
The only characters I have that were based on a real person are my sonas, and maybe a few other characters too (but aren't necessarily sonas).

Alexei is influenced by Russian musician, Viktor Tsoi. Most notably physical appearance, place of birth, race, and the fact they are both musicians.
