Are any of your characters based on people in real life? Not necessarily the whole character, but maybe they share speech patterns with your friend, or personality quirks with your brother, or you gave them the same haircut as a girl in your class-- I'm just curious about the little ways we put our own lives into our characters!

this entire folder is built off the gimmick of everyone being based on a musician. goofy idea? maybe, i was about 14 when i came up with this whole thing. am i gonna say who all is based on who? nope! i dont feel like writing an essay here
theres only really one character in there that i regret the choice of inspiration for. if i were more aware when i was younger, then i probably wouldve chosen someone else for his inspo. ive had that character for years now so hes become a lot more detached from the inspo thank the lord
outside of that, forests appearance is based on the sematary album of the same name. his personality is pretty heavily inspired by sem as well
alphonse has two main inspirations: raoul duke, the protagonist to the 1998 film "fear and loathing in las vegas" (theres a book too i just havent read it) and myself. raoul duke himself is very much based on the author of the fear and loathing novel, hunter s. thompson, to the point where you might as well just consider him an avatar for the author to interact with the fictional world hes created. im a real person as far as i know, so alphonse is technically inspired by two real people.
like raoul duke, alphonse is very eccentric and tends to freak people out with his odd mannerisms, although id say i was more inspired by his dynamic with the deuteragonist of fear and loathing, dr gonzo, as well as his interactions with the other 'normal' characters, than by raoul himself.
like myself, alphonse is somewhere on the schizo spectrum (so, differently from raoul, alphonse's oddness comes from his conditions, rather than from drug use). a lot of his experiences are my own, as well as the way he interacts with the world. id say hes a more "far gone" and uninhibited version of me.
This guy is slightly based off someone I knew in High School. I think it might’ve been two people but I forgot who the other one was. However, still retains the huge emo and goofy energy.
Both Garth and Donnie are inspired by people I've known... though I have met many Garths, lmao, and he's partially based off myself because as much as I hate to admit it I had that asshole centrist Logic and Facts phase. Everyone go back in time and beat the shit out of me.
He's primarily based off my step dad, and some of me. Cause I always put a little bit of myself in each of my ocs. My step dad and Larks share the same interests and crude jokes. And slightly in appearance.
bappo's entire personality and looks are heavily based off my favorite youtubers at the time (kryoz and smii7y)
maxwell's hairstyle and hair color is based off of lil peep's iconic pink and black hair
ada's name is based off ada rook from black dresses (which is also the reason why her fav song is a black dresses song)
noah's name is based off my ex's old name, though he doesn't go by it anymore
atlas is loosely based off of creators i watch (cscoop and traves)
nearly everything in camdyn's bio is based off of me and how i am irl, with the exception being some small things (like his birthday, the state he was born in, etc.)
ezra is literally just me...... everything that's in his bio and stuff is stuff that i actually do, own, etc.
when i was naming marcel, i was thinking of basicallyidowrk, another youtuber that i (watched?)
travis is based off what i achieved to look and act like, and his name is based off traves
They don't have their own toyhouse pages since they're not exactly my characters, but my fursona's siblings Clear Starry Night and MuddyFoot are based off my real life siblings!
She was originally based on one of my great grandmas! Also her and Neil Whitelock are kinda based on my family? We all have a lock of white hair that we have a 50/50 chance to grow out of.
Aside from my sonas (Juniper, Snitch, Rain, Firefly, and Legacy) who were at least 90% based on me at different points in my life, I have some other characters who were inspired by real people in some way or another!
Dawn, particularly her title of "the most functional adult in her family," was inspired by my oldest sister
Jasper was partially inspired by two of my favorite YouTubers, tuv and Nick Crowley
Luna was heavily based on my mom, which makes sense given that xe is Snitch's mom
Peter and Florent are interested in sewing/embroidery and history respectively, both of which were also inspired by my mom
Eridanus was loosely inspired by my dad
Setara was loosely based on both of my sisters
Talia, while not being one of my sonas, has a lot in common with me, most prominent being her passion for voice acting and obsession with foxes
