Give a Pokemon Team to the Character Above you

Aipom (shiny) - Elias is lighthearted and always smiling, so that brings Aipom to mind! It has lots of energy and a good nature, so I think it would be perfect for contests. Since he's into the contest scene, no doubt that he was out shiny hunting to get himself an eye-catching 'mon. I imagine he was maybe looking for a different one, but this cutie popped up instead!

Indeedee - Indeedee shares Elias' caring nature, and female Indeedee even act as nannies to children and other Pokemon. If Elias ever has to go anywhere and can't take his team with him for whatever reason, it should put his worrying mostly at ease knowing that Indeedee is looking after everyone.

Roselia - I left his Roselia as is because I think it's a good fit for him! He seems kind and patient, and pretty handsome to boot. A beautiful, serene looking Roselia would look right at home with him. Plus it's perfect for contests and rather iconic for them if you've watched the Diamond and Pearl seasons of the anime.

Volbeat and Illumise - Speaking of the anime, know what the anime has? Doubles contests!! Volbeat and Illumise are made for each other so they'd be a hit on a doubles stage. They work wonderfully together, but also could hold their own going solo. He seems like a hard worker, so I think these busy, buzzy little guys are a good match.

Teddiursa - While not technically categorized as a baby Pokemon, just look at it! It's a li'l bear cub and it's sooo cute. It's young, adorable, and is just starting out in the world... kind've like Elias! Since Elias is already treating his own Pokemon like children, maybe when he's older he'll settle down and start a family? And by then his Teddiursa will probably be an Ursaring. A big, loving papa bear just like him. <3

Well, my immediate thought was Houndoom for the horns and her intimidating look. I could see them being that kind to always be around Bonecrusher as the loyal hound they are, and could also sniff around for any signs of foul play before a race.

Zoroark - Has that same kinda mysterious, intimidating, scary energy. Although with the shape shifting abilities, I think they'd be a secretly comforting Pokemon to her, probably would be close whenever she's upset.

Beedrill - If you're going into modern lancing, you need a Pokemon with two gigantic lances for hands. I have no doubts Beedrill would be on the road with her during these races. After all, they're technically a weapon besides a lance, and a powerful one at that. Of the entire team, I think they would be the most used for jousts. Or at least the most aggressive and up close.

Marowak (Galarian) - She's gonna need a mascot the more (in)famous she gets, so what better Pokemon to represent Bonecrusher than one with a skull mask? A Galarian Marowak would still be able to fit in better with the general theme of the team's intimidation look, and could cause a few fire hazards for the other racers.

Toxtricity - This was my second thought after Houndoom. They have this kinda no care, rockstar vibe that I kinda see with Bonecrusher too. I can easily see these two relaxing on the couch and munching on snacks.

Obstagoon - Of all the Pokemon on the team, this one, I think, would be the scariest and most protective. They'd be the biggest (not as tall as Bonecrusher, though) but would follow close behind her like some kind of bodyguard.

Clefable - I feel it also has a connection to children, since it's the wishing star pokemon (that isn't Jirachi because I wanted to have only one Mythical here. Also why Cresselia isn't here) and it's big, pink, and very unassuming, which I feel fits Bifrost's aesthetic of not wanting to be scary or intimidating.

Pichu (Spiky-eared) - I feel that it's a pokemon that very accurately describes "baby". But by being spiky eared, it reflects how unique a child can be! Of course it won't be doing a lot of damage in a battle, but it's cute.

Froslass - I mean, apart from needing an ice type because BiFROST (cough), It's a very elusive pokemon that was questioned to even exist because it's so rare in the wild. It's a very morbid pokemon (Said to only be seen when death is near), but in its appearance it looks very serene and mysterious!

Gardevoir - It's another psychic mon who can manipulate the world around it when it needs to, creating black holes at times! I think it just fits too because it still looks calm and elegant, not really something that would scare anyone. Also, it can learn mystical fire and I think that Bifrost would vibe with that.

Darkrai - A guardian has to at least have ONE mythical or legendary on their team. I don't make the rules! I feel Darkrai was a better pick than Cresselia because it reflects that darker, enraged side Bifrost can have, not just the more gentle dreams--But tormenting nightmares too.

Musharna - I mean, it's a pokemon heavily associated with dreams, so it's only fitting that this gentle psychic pokemon be in it's lineup! It's an obvious pick, I know sfgdh

I don't really have much reasoning behind these? I just thought these would be pokemon he would like in some fashion.

Magnemite- Mostly because Wally is a robot. I feel like he'd like to have little magnetic friends following him around! I imagine this little dude managed to get stuck to him and now he's just too attached to let him go. Magnemite is a small friend just like him!

Sunkern- Sweet and unassuming! Sunkern is a very cute pokemon that I can imagine wally having around. I feel like he'd enjoy caring for them! It's a pokemon that's small enough for him to keep around and most likely easy enough to care for since he doesn't have a lot of free time on his hands.

Dunsparce- Mostly here because I feel like you'd kick my ass if it wasn't asfkjlashkjl but jokes aside I feel like he'd love having a dunsparce. They're simple and cool, just like him! I feel like it fits his 90s aesthetic well, too. Just a cool lil dude! They're also very rare and hard to come by- kinda like him and his model! 

Arrokuda- Funnie fishie for the funny wally. These little guys are very fast, just like Wally, plus they're shown to be really proud of themselves- something I think Wally could relate to!

Stonjouner- I feel like wally would really like the funnie rocks! They look really silly, and could probably help him with lifting heavy items (granted, he doesn't need the help, but having a friend around cant hurt, honestly. Especially in a retail job)

Charjabug- They store a lot of energy in them! I doubt Wally ever needs energy at all, but if he ever needs an extra boost, I'm sure he'd like to have onna these lil guys around. Plus they're friend shaped, too!

Claydol - OKAY I'LL ADMIT this was a choice I made because of his name, but I'm gonna pretend that it's also based on his focused nature, and I feel like it could be an excellent balance between technology and... you know, shit like ancient clay dolls. I feel like it's a pokemon he would have found laying around, and would have taken to it fairly easily. I don't really picture Clay's team to be super attack-based, but both an offensive and defensive team would probably fit him better. Claydol has a high defense and special defense stat, and can learn some... honestly very scary damaging moves, alongside knowing moves that can boost its own team such as Reflect and Safeguard.

Combee - It's a bee. Bees are good for pollination. I also think it'd be a cute for this quiet middle-aged man to own a small, sociable bee. It's pretty harmless, though, and assuming it's a male combee, it won't get any better in terms of fighting. Still, he appreciates it for the sake of his garden. And if it ever regards him as it's "queen", it'd likely bring some honey to him... Again, I just think it's cute...

Nuzleaf - I tried to find a different grass-type, but Nuzleaf popped up in my search and I honestly always associated it living in a group of fellow hardworking Nuzleaf/Seedot/Shiftry/what have you. Similarly to Combee, I can picture it helping Clay in regards to gardening, and while I don't really associate Nuzleaf with, like, fancy "make flowers bloom" type of magic, I picture it on the more manual labor side of things, digging up and moving plants around. Also, though the game pokedex entries comment on it's leaf flute being unnerving, one of the entries in the anime says it can also play soft melodies that can comfort humans

Magnezone - It was either this or Klinklang, but I wanted a robotic sort of pokemon. Similarly to Claydol, it has high defense, but an even higher special attack, so I feel as though it would be his main fighter. Both its damaging moves and status moves would be terrifying in battle, between using Thunder Wave, Iron Defense, Hyper Beam, and Discharge. Also, I was sort of inspired by his dislike for cops for this one, as Magnezone is a police chief in one of the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games :'V Despite this, I feel as though he would still find it useful... And admittedly something interesting for him to study.

Reuniclus - Like Magnezone, I figured Reuniclus would be a pokemon Clay would enjoy studying, though it is also an excellent fighter. I also associate Reuniclus with doctors, as if I remember correctly, it's pre-evolved forms were used by doctors in the BW/B2W2 games, and it can also have the hidden ability, Regenerator, which restores a bit of its health when it switches out of battles.

Chansey - DEFINITELY a pokemon for a doctor. We know this. Its egg is nutritious and a sought-after ingredient for dishes, though it will also share the egg with the sick and injured. I feel as though Clay would treat it with lots of care, too, given that the egg will become even more delicious if it's pampered. :') It's also a tank, with high health and special defense stats. I can picture it also just... being the mom of the group and caring for its teammates-- especially Combee and Nuzleaf.

Mudsdale: So I saw he likes horses and thought well obviously... he's gotta have a horse pokemon then! There honestly aren't that many though so, out of all of them, I thought Mudsdale was the most fitting. Part of this was because of aesthetic where it just seemed to fit with Noel, but it was also because Mudsdale looks like a pretty tough pokemon too.

Corviknight: Noel also likes birds so I wanted to include a bird as well!! I'm not sure if Corviknight is specifically a raven, which I saw is one of his favorites, but I thought it was close enough. Actually it was one of the first pokemon that came to mind just looking at his icon too so I thought it would make a good pokemon!

Chatot: Similar to above. I saw he also liked songbirds and birds who could mimic human speech so... Chatot seemed pretty perfect since that was its whole gimmick in Gen 4. I like to imagine Chatot would have a nice singing voice!

Decidueye: I wanted to add another bird but, even though it's not flying type, I thought Decidueye would be fitting! I wanted to give him a ghost type too (since he's haunted by his past actions of killing it seems like a fitting type) AND Noel wears a hood so I don't know. I thought he would probably use one?? Decidueye just seems fitting omg.

Gallade: Okay hear me out on this one. He likes giant swords and Gallade has sword arms. I believe Gallade is also a very protective pokemon so I thought it would be fitting since Noel believes women are people to be protected and he seems like the type to be very protective of Maribelle. Also I believe Gallade (and the rest of the ralts line) can sense thoughts and emotions too so... A pokemon like that would probably be nice for Noel.

Spiritomb: I wasn't sure about the last one but I knew I wanted it to be a ghost type. When I saw Spiritomb though I was like oh yeah, that one's perfect. It's both a ghost and dark type (and Noel seems like he would like dark types) and it's also a combination of a bunch of souls if I remember right? Something happened that got it sealed to the odd keystone. I thought it was a good representation of Noel who killed a lot of people and is regretful of it.

So Tropius is probably a little obvious but. He loves bananas. Banana dinosaur. I feel like this needs no further explanation.

Meloetta seems like a perfect fit because of his love of both singing and dancing. I could see him using one as part of performances- maybe the presence of a Pokemon companion on stage would help him tackle his stage fright a little.

Cherrim I chose because of him being very cheerful and positive, but also his struggles with stage fright holding him back. I feel like Cherrim's two forms match this pretty nicely, one being very open and happy and the other closed off and withdrawn. 

Frosmoth would be a good fit for him I feel because of his love of the night time, since Snom only evolves into Frosmoth at night. It also being a happiness evolution fits quite nicely with him being a very dependable person who is always there for his friends, and being very close with his family. He seems like a very loving person and I feel like this love would extend to his Pokemon, so a happiness evolution would be something he'd have no issues achieving. Also, ice types for his preference of winter.

Since he's into meditation to calm his pre-show nerves, Medicham! Medicham's fighting style is also described as being dance-like in appearance.

And finally, Pikachu! I wanted to give him an electric type because I always associate electric types with performers- probably because most of the games' electric specialists are performers in some kind of way- and also because the yellow colour scheme matches the whole banana thing. Pikachu specifically just feels like a friend, and I feel like it suits his cheerful and friendly demeanor well.

Espeon: I noticed Tarosi was purple and had long ears felt very reminiscent of Espeon.

Ditto: A purple shapeshifter needs a shape shifting pokemon.

Dragalge: One of the pictures you had a very mermaid like feel to him, the design for Tarosi’s tail made me think of Dragalge. Both would be very good swimmers.

Cutiefly: Not so much a hummingbird, more of a bug. But I thought they would make a nice pair, Cutiefly would buzz around Tarosi a lot wanting honey or attention I imagine.

Mismagius: I saw a few Halloween based pictures on the feral side, figured a scary looking witch like pokemon may be good to have.

Lycanroc (Midday form): Tarosi’s feral form was almost like Lycanroc. Something fierce and wolf like.
