14/11 update - Rule update
From this point on, it's required that your post adheres to at least ONE (doesn't need to be all of them) of the following qualities
- You give at least three reasons or elements that made you fave the character
- You write at least three sentences explaining your choice
- You write a full paragraph that details why you enjoy the character
Note you are allowed to do more than these, but these are the minimum requirements.
If none of the above qualities are met, I'll issue a warning and a chance to edit your post to follow this new rule, and repeat offenders or people who won't edit their post to follow the rule will be banned from this game. This rule has been put in place to ensure everyone gets a response that is enjoyable to read. I'd also like to ask everyone to please read what the above person asks for, for example when giving a folder of characters to choose from or requesting to also read their profiles instead of just looking at the images.
Everybody loves getting favourites, so why not make a game where faves are guaranteed and people can compliment your OCs?

▶︎ Edit your comment to explain why you chose that character to fave. Your reasons can be anything, whether it's that you like their design, you read their story and think it's original, because you share the same name with the character, or something entirely different. Keep it nice!
Please also follow these rules to make sure the game stays fun for everyone!
❖ Don't be rude, insult people's characters, or make inappropriate comments. "I like Jef because I didn't think it was possible to be so ugly" comments are not a good reason to fave and will result in an instant block from this and my other threads.
❖ Actually fave the character! Don't only say what you like. Remember that this is a fave game primarily!
❖ Try to go into detail with your explanation. "The way his dress compliments his skin tone works so well and the texture of his hair is too gorgeous" is more fun to receive than "I like his design"!
❖ If there are any disputes that need my input as the thread owner, please PM me at my main, ElithianFox. I'll answer much faster on there than on here!

I'm gonna go with Kubo! First off, I adore his name! I just really like the name Kubo in general, it's cute and cool at the same time! As well as that, I really like his design! Winged people are a giant plus for me as well as the blue and grey contrasting well together! I like the fact that one of his eyes are covered, I have a soft spot for characters with only one visible eye <3 Also also... I absolutely adore how he is in love with essentially Lucifer (Luci), now that's just super adorable and amazing >v<

Okay, I'll be honest that I'm 100% biased with character designs like Angu's, he was the first thing I clicked when I checked your profile. However, going through Angu's profile was another experience! I never expected a personality with a design like that, yet it fits and it makes sense! You know... seeing his design and reading his bio feels like dipping fries into a chocolate sundae. You doubt it would fit but no, it's perfect and flawless! It's the best feeling as a reader! Other than that, Angu made me interested to read your other characters in the Cure of Death, and I'm not gonna lie. I only have just read Asriel's too, but I'll try to read the rest later! I'm now hooked on the tale and hopefully, Angu would also have his backstory unfolded! This is one of the greatest powers a character can get, and it's only made when someone pours a lot of love to it. ; w;)
Anyways I'm starting to derail the thread, but overall, Angu is such a great character!
Y’know, I’m sad that there’s no “Fave All” button- jokes aside, I picked Concord for this game! Sorry if you don’t want me picking him, if you want I can redo this with a different character-
Anyways that aside, I honestly think he’s a pretty neat character in general; as protagonist (I think he’s supposed to be one?) I think his main motivation being curiosity is pretty cool and appropriate! Usually what motivates protagonists isn’t something like curiosity, but in his case it’s pretty appropriate. That aside, I do think his backstory at first being normal and then descending into tragedy is an interesting way to start it off, but also quite a sad way as well; his mixed feelings to his situation are, in all honesty, not really something I read about before, so that really drew me in! Also the whole thing about the kids that picked on him getting sick and then being kinder to him when they recovered also caught my attention, and to be honest I wonder what the cause for that was... that aside, Concord slowly becoming an empty shell who’s trying to look for meaning everywhere is quite dark but also fitting for the storyline he’s in, if that makes sense? And all that over his guilt over not really feeling much about his parents’ death man... honestly as sad as it is, it gives more depth to his character in my opinion. I’m curious to see what direction his life will take after he met Howard!
Yeah in general Concord’s a great character man; also his design is quite cute but also quite simple and distinctive also!

I chose Nyx ! First I love her name, and her design is really pretty as well ! Then I read her bio/description and I liked it a lot ! I thought thé way the story of the two lovers is written is very interesting as well as the sudden change of point of view ! It makes the story sadder tbh ; like it's really unfair how her son died even if he was only trying to protect his father's memory!
It also explains a lot about her personnality and her being that distrustful makes a lot of sense! But I love the fact that she stays calm most of the time I think calm characters are the best even (/especially) if they're absolutely not calm on the inside hhh
For the person bellow: most of my chars don't have a bio yet, and you don't have to pick someone who has one!
Maybe an obscure choice, but I'm really digging Tawnie's look! Something about them just really jumped out to me; they look like someone with an unusual personality (what are you doing with that knife...), and I like their hairstyle a lot. Kinda punkish, with an asymmetrical outfit that to me hints at something more. They get my fave B)
Fen Is such a cute boy! I love his design and his personality! He's a good friends and he deserve more love! I love him!
I haven't seen Hymnos around as often but the fact that he's selective mute kind draws me towards him? I find it's cute that he prefer to deliver his words through singing, which is something I always love to see on characters who are shy or uncapable of speaking verbally, haha. Despite all of that, he's clingy to people which is both a good thing considering his lack of communication skills and memories...but can might be a flaw because, well, he trust people too fast and relies on others for any decisions? Still a great detail on his character regardless! Also I tend to be a bit biased towards characters that just started their new life (especially from an amnesia) and tries to slowly learn about their surroundings, they're a fun character to know and learn about!
Also his story on how he became a human from his previous life as an inanimate object is really...well thought and written? Maybe it's because of the way you write it, but I really like the way you write beginning of how he learned how to sing. I'll check out Risu's profile later too :>
Overall, yep, he deserve a favorite and a mention here indeed! I should sit down and read all your characters' profiles too because they're just very well written and I highly appreciate your efforts :'D

I really like Yunosuke! I'll admit, his design DID pop out to me the most... I really like his color pallet, heh. But I felt drawn into his bio, as well! I'd love to learn more about his diamond element, because that seems really interesting. (honestly, the entire plot of Angel Game seems really interesting.) I've always enjoyed cheerful characters, but cheerful characters with rough pasts just feel so relatable and real to me. Poor guy's been through a lot, I see! But despite everything he's been through and all the people he's lost, he's still kind to everyone around him and continues to smile. That's an admirable trait! It makes me sad though that he's scared to get close to others in fear that something bad will happen to him, though... unlucky and has been through a lot, yet still, he smiles. I love him, please protect him. Also extra points for floofy hair. I love characters with lots of hair!
first of all, the fact that you base characters off your dreams is really cool to me! and your dreams seem pretty cool as well. i think gyrai is probably my favorite! i'm a huge sucker for creepy characters and his appearance is really cool. the dynamic between gyrai and nukala (with gyrai being the only thing that can scare nukala) is very interesting. also, "I am everything you have ever wanted to be. But you failed." is such a creepy line. i love it.
I faved Lumi cause I think object heads are neat, I like her limited color scheme, and her dress is really cute. :)
I really like Markus. I'm a huge fan of characters with a "rugged" aesthetic. The fact that he's a born werewolf who seems to be a really nice guy with the whole trying to not kill anyone is very interesting as well.
