What one item would your OC save from a fire?

Definitely his jacket. The back of it was hand-painted by his boyfriend (though don't call Gabe that to his face; he'd probably blush and get flustered and deny it) who was kidnapped. Usually he wears it virtually at all times, and he's had to repair it a lot from getting ripped up by monsters, but it means a lot to him. It's basically a symbol of why he and his friend Rafe (the twin brother of Gabe) keep going and searching. He'd be DEVESTATED if something happened to it that destroyed it beyond repair.

Or else if he was wearing it, his car, Orchid. She can't move on her own and he'd be completely beside himself if she was destroyed. I mean, really, all three of the other main characters of this story would just fall apart if something happened to her. She's basically the level-headed glue that keeps the rest from going off the deep end.

Shiloh would definitely save his seal plush, no doubt about it. 

It means the absolute world to him!

Her prized Snoopy plush. She's had it ever since she could remember, she has so many memories with it and she can't bear to lose it

Her Infinity Bag! It has a lot of important things in it, like A LOT.

She usually has her hood on, but in the instance that she took it off and left it in the burning building, that's what she would go and save. 

Valentina's homeless, but he has a few valued items. I'd say if it were before his main plot, he'd save his cross necklace. He's very religious and would be deeply upset if he lost it.

His old record book. It is, in a way instrumental in locating the missing nurse (Saoirse) and saved her life. It has the list of all his contacts from all over the place, and though he has already transferred it on his phone, for some reason, he became attached to it in the long run.

Wincing slightly, Fitzgerald couldn't help but turn pale at the question that he was just asked.

"F... Fire?" he repeated, the word almost sputtering out of his mouth as he bit his lip and looked at the floor. Clearly, something had spilled, because nobody was ever supposed to learn about... That. The young man already conjured up ways he was going to find and berate the person who did this to him, the one who really thought that getting at his insecurities - his deepest one in fact - just to elicit some type of reaction from him. And the worst part...?

"It worked. It really fucking worked," Fitzgerald muttered under his breath, hugging himself as tightly as he could while struggling to think of an answer. Would he even be the type to save something from a fire? He was far too afraid of the flame to ever consider going into it, but at the same time, the thought of everything he had ever owned and treasured going up into flames seemed just as terrifying - if not more so. Besides, it wasn't like he was a stranger to the latter...

After a period of time, a sigh could be heard from the young man as he muttered to himself under his breath - his voice surprisingly shaky as words such as "You need to calm down, damn it" and "This isn't the time, this isn't the time" were said. He stood himself straight again before hanging his arms loose once more, although he refused to initiate the direct eye contact that he was usually so fond of.

His voice bitter and still admittedly quite strained, Fitzgerald finally answered, "Well, if it really matters to you, then I guess I'll save my dog, Pup. He means the world to me, and I honestly can't see myself without him... Like, I could do without anything else, just as long as he's safe and here with me." He gave a couple of quick glances before grumbling to himself, probably because that detail would probably be used against him too. Yet at this point, he didn't seem to particularly care, the fight having been replaced by an odd sense of flight that he hadn't felt since leaving home. "Still, it's not like he's with me right now, so if something were to happen where I currently stayed at, I guess that I'd have to settle with my bag, since that's filled with plenty of important items... My boss might get upset if he found out I lost that," he added with a half-hearted shrug, before immediately looking in the other direction and starting to walk off.

A fire didn't sound that bad. Not until the question came up. Could she really only save one thing? She blanched at the suggestion, but quickly looked down at her wrists. She rubbed her hands together, deep in thought. As deep as she could go. Woah. Maribelle could think?

"Can I... Can I save a bag that has more stuff in it?" she asked, "It has, uh... It's got old things in it..." She didn't provide a reason beyond that. She continued to play with her hands, her eyebrows furrowed. She hoped she wouldn't lose that bag. Not ever. But, if she couldn't choose it...

"I want my cloak." she muttered. "I'd keep my cloak with me all the time if I got to..."
