Daiki would without a doubt save the jewelry box he made containing the accessories and pendants he bought for his mother.
In the vein of the "What's in your character's pocket?" thread, here's another little question that might say a lot about your character!
What's the single most important physical item in your character's life, the one thing they would save from a burning building? Why is it so important to them? (Alternately, is there anything they would be happy to see burn?)
(Maybe try not to pick pets or loved ones for this since that's probably the logical first priority for most characters, but you can if that's absolutely the only thing that would be on their mind!)
I'll go first, and say that Amber would save her guitar, because it was a gift from someone very dear to her who has since passed on.
"My boyfriend... wait... he's not an item. I would definitely say my laptop. All the pictures of my parents and I are on there and I don't want to lose any more of what I have already lost of them"
Joey would save her file full of drawing/sketches and pictures of her. What a vain being. Afterwards, she would just sit and watch everything and everyone else burn.
(in all seriousness she probably started the fire.)

realistically, if a fire broke out in the kitchen or basement, shoko is fucked. their hobbit hole bedroom is in the basement and to escape in the event of fire they would have to go through the kitchen
BUT if they could, they would grab their sketchbook (this is assuming that their pets are safe outside)
The Sacred Texts!!
...which is what she calls her diary. literally it's just a day-to-day log of her activities and adventures. it's a teenage girl's journal. she exclusively refers to it as The Sacred Texts because she's a dramatic idiot
but actually what it is is that she has magical memory problems she doesn't know the origin of that have, in the past, made her lose track of time to severe degrees and have even led to her forgetting her missing mother's name, so that tangible log of her memories is so important for her to have, because just thinking about losing precious memories of her friends and the ground she's already covered on the way to find her mother causes a lot of distress
