Otis would probably save the one picture of the scientist that made him (since he technically considers them like a parent).
In the vein of the "What's in your character's pocket?" thread, here's another little question that might say a lot about your character!
What's the single most important physical item in your character's life, the one thing they would save from a burning building? Why is it so important to them? (Alternately, is there anything they would be happy to see burn?)
(Maybe try not to pick pets or loved ones for this since that's probably the logical first priority for most characters, but you can if that's absolutely the only thing that would be on their mind!)
I'll go first, and say that Amber would save her guitar, because it was a gift from someone very dear to her who has since passed on.
Mercury would most likely save his family photo album from a fire if anything. The rest can most likely be electronically saved/backed up to secondary/tertiary locations...
dane would take the wip of the next volume of his novel for sure. if it got ruined or destroyed he would probably die lol
Howl doesn't really care about any of his own possessions, but he would for sure save his little brother's Tamagotchi. Virtual pets are very important! His little brother (who is nineteen) would be touched, if a little startled and mildly distressed by Howl's priorities.
He's amassed a bunch of clothing from his work in modelling, and in all honestly he'd probably be relieved to see all of it burn. He feels a little suffocated by the job and everything that's come along with it.
      At first Roska would be indecisive between important documents in the fleet's archive, because of his responsibility as flagship, or a personal item belonged to his friend. Ultimately though, I think he would go with the latter, which is a saber belongs to Admiral Lazarev (whom I haven't created a profile on TH yet), his close friend and Petya's older brother. Roska strongly holds on to a hope that Lazarev will return from his deactivated state someday and on that day he will return this saber, which is the part of uniform for all project 1144 Orlan androids, along with the flagship position. Besides, being an android himself, Roska probably thinks that all those documents in the archive seriously need to be digitized and preserve as data in the navy's main data center or something similar already.
     Meanwhile, he would really want to take off his red kosovorotka shirt and toss it to the flame.  Unfortunately for him though that I won't let him do that and be given a chance to choose a new uniform shirt. Thus according to the plot, even though if he might do so, there are still a dozen of spare red kosovorotka shirts stocked in the fleet's storage.
