OK, this is hard to word, but the idea of this thread is for all those little questions you want a second opinion on, the kind of thing you might ask a friend. We're all friends here, aren't we? c: For example:
- "What should I name my character's sword?" (Note that there's already a thread for naming characters)

- "I can't decide whether my character should be a bounty hunter or a pirate, what do you think?"

Make sense? This isn't the place for huge questions ("please critique my entire centuries-spanning multiverse"), though you can ask a simple question and invite people to talk to you in private about that sort of thing if they're interested.

Laftoro when I read her page some things came to mind! A healing touch similar to Mipha from botw for example, or summoning and commanding daggers like Ghirahim from Skyward Sword, just more... Royal and aesthetic! Or some powers more connected to light itself, being able to bend it, or create it from other living things that contain any form of energy, like plants or water!

hmm .. given finnigans description i suppose he could be extremely forward and demanding (which isnt a bad thing inherently but can get out of hand lol. i was also going to add confrontational but thats synonymous with being 'forward'), full of himself/vain, perhaps he has very high expectations to the point it pressures other characters around him (which can also tie into another trait of being picky)? maybe he has a silver tongue due to him being an influencer .. probably a bit of a Karen but he's usually in the right for being so (he still blows everything out of proportion)
i imagine him to hate minimalist aesthetics .. and this is a random one but given his lack of jewelry in his images I think itd be funny if he hated piercings / is squeamish / was allergic to certain metals (which is a thing.. I think)

PK_Skeletons I've thought of like, 2 different outfit ideas that could work. Given the name Strawberry and her hair I could imagine a sort of red and black "scenemo" outfit like these ones. Though if you want something simpler you could take something like this and give it some wear and tear or more bows to also fit with her personality better, as it could be seen as more comfy and soft by others.
At some point I'm gonna have this girl lose the sword Revital(cause plot and also entering a plane she shouldn't be in) and replace it with something like a gun. I was also thinking of giving her unique powers during this, my main idea was some water or sea serpent like powers. I'm not sure if it fits but I also can't think of anything else to give her. Should I stick with my idea or is there something else you can think of that'll fit better?

This is probably bc you have more context than I do from her profile, but water or sea serpent theming would kinda come out of nowhere, not much to do with life or mutation, which imo are pretty cool themes to work with! I'd lean into that, could be mutating herself or if they could like mutate the living or dead or even inanimate objects into new forms you could even keep the sea serpents by mutating things into them :p
BUT. if your goal with giving them a new weapon is to distance them from Odyess and give them their own separate powers, it makes more sense to stick with the water/serpents then :> but maybe you could give them a harpoon gun instead of a normal gun to tie those together or something?

Might be heavily misunderstanding the story but im assuming that natale is related to claude, and taking from clade's features we could possible create a similar design to him so they look related?
- Wavy or curly/messy hair
- pins in his hair (because he wants to try and calm it?), just small details yk? maybe once also tried a hat (which made it worse ykyk)
- Dark hazel/brown hair, maybe short-medium in length?
- A semi rounded chin, round eyes with full irises (no sanpaku yin or yang, those make people took intimidating/make them look like they have an rbf, source: irl people) and round cheeks to portray his friendliness
- maybe slightly darker palms and finger tips if he has calluses due to his work
- Maybe despite being comfortable in the spotlight and dressing well, he still dresses modestly (so no weird outfits, or insanely bright colours and strange patterns, mostly solid maybe?) to try not to draw attention to himself (and to avoid being recognised maybe? i see that he doesn't like to be recognised all too much)

- i was looking to make an evil/malevolent character (as most of my characters are happy and 'good') and know that this form )the only image it has) is not her 'true' or complete form and am thinking that she had a majority (90+%) of herself condensed into an orb and was sealed away with a talisman that burned her if she touched what it was placed upon. Should I keep it like this or rethink it?
- should her true form be more humanoid (smaller, slimmer, upright, smaller tail, etc) or monstrous (larger hands, tail, larger in general, , hunched, etc)
- shoudl i keep the yellow on her design? it is meant to be color representation (yellow in deception)

1. I think he's very steampunk. He looked only semi-steampunk from the thumbnail, then I opened the reference and saw full cog-gear leg and tail and then was full steam punk.
2. Often some of the best flaws are simply virtues turned extreme. For example, perhaps she can become protective to the point of controlling and limiting others, or she works herself sick collecting pollen. If you don't want to make her good traits extreme, you could give her melancholy over her eternal lifespan, or she's allergic to one type of pollinator (hummingbirds, wasps, bats, ect).
Should I have Gisela make her own magical girl wand because her transformation didn't come with one, or just keep her without any sort of weapon? If not a wand, what type of weapon would be more fitting without being a conventional weapon?
VVV Oh hohoho I hadn't even thought about the dramatic scene of it falling when she gets possessed! That is going to look so cool when I finally plan out this comic. I'm gonna have to design her a wand she'd have made. As for the gloves, I just had more scale patches under it. Didn't wanna give her claws since Samael already has em for his design, y'know?

God she's so cute and funny, I've gone back and forth on this like three times. I'm going to vote yes wand based on the thought "well I have to have a wand, all real magical girls do!" and the fun little moment of it getting dropped to the ground useless in the possessed form. I can definitely picture a cutesy swirly wand a little evocative of a coiling snake, but it'd honestly be just as good if it had none of the sinister elements of her transformation if she's the one making it separate from the ancient one's power. Also I'd definitely consider putting some sort of abnormality under the gloves if you haven't already 👀

for v, heres a couple options:
- metalworking/welding something along those lines. because metal (as prosthetics and such) is seen as somewhat holy, itd give good excuses for him to see ines pre-escape? maybe he saw her from a distance and became obsessed lol
- the obvious choice, some sort of soldier or town guard. good way to explain how he knows his way around a gun + why hes good at fighting
- some sort of animal keeping? fits with his whole motif + some degree of ability for pet the dog moments. he may not be nice to people but he can be nice to animals! can gain reader sympathy for him
- and a random last one: leatherworking. i have no explanation for this one but its a Thought

okay so i have a mini plotline in mind for my super hero guys. tldr, mideia used to be super powerful but she was taken down a couple of decades ago and has been just quietly fuming for those years, causing relatively minimal trouble. but, recently, she making moves to kidnap her god dyonysius, and this sucks in her ex (ex agent and ex girlfriend) brook to try to stop her. at some point After mideia successfully kidnaps dyonysius, mack somehow pisses her off and gets his ass cursed. i do not know why this happens and i have a few options
- brook is physically weaker than she was at her peak due to age, and so hires mack to do a physical job in order to try to stop mideia. he fucks this up and gets cursed
- he gets involved for hermes reasons, as he does kind of have familial stake in this. he tries to rescue dyonysius by himself, fucks up, gets cursed
- he was hired by mideia pre-kidnapping, and pissed her off (probably due to jealousy over his association with the gods), and so she curses him when shes power-drunk from having a Kidnapped God.
- some. other reason. uh.

related to brook again, she and her current boyfriend, and mideia, all have/had powers from a mysterious source. im thinking about having that source be the same one, and be revealed, but im not sure what that source should Be. their powers are too magical for tech/mutation based ones, and zenai is jewish so i dont want to do anything based on blessings from gods. help
