OK, this is hard to word, but the idea of this thread is for all those little questions you want a second opinion on, the kind of thing you might ask a friend. We're all friends here, aren't we? c: For example:
- "What should I name my character's sword?" (Note that there's already a thread for naming characters)
- "What kind of familiar should my character have?"
- "I can't decide whether my character should be a bounty hunter or a pirate, what do you think?"
- "I'm redesigning my character; do you think they would look better in green or red?"
- "My character's world is at war with monstrous bugs. Do you think wasp monsters or cockroach monsters would be scarier?"
- "Does [backstory excerpt] make sense to you?"
Make sense? This isn't the place for huge questions ("please critique my entire centuries-spanning multiverse"), though you can ask a simple question and invite people to talk to you in private about that sort of thing if they're interested.

Honestly, I have a hard time figuring out for Clarissa‘s corruption arc, since both her biodata (and Catie’s) doesn’t really show their backstory with enough details (Take for instance, why does Clarissa has anxiety? Or how important is Catie in the setting as a goddess?) but closest thing to what I can write about Clarissa switching to the dark side is that she’s getting sick of Catie constantly using her thread powers on her, rendering Clarissa as a puppet of some sort, probably tying to her anxiety... Hope this helps!
For the Next Person, I simply beg of you to expand on ANY of these characters! (Read the spoiler below)
- I haven’t uploaded this one character to toyhouse yet, but this one is regarding Troy, a Pokemon fan-character who plays a rather antagonistic role in my Pokemon fic! I wanted to make him secretly obsessed with a Legendary Pokemon while hiding the obsession with a smile… but I don’t know how to hide his facade and write how he was drawn to the Legendary Pokemon. Any suggestions?
- I just adopted River not too long ago and I decided to make her the little sister of Sharon from one of my original projects, A Dynfuctional Tale! The question is, how do I make their relationship as siblings a little complicated? Like how they’ll get into quarrels and such?
- Lastly, the entire point of Nox is that he’s a bounty hunter gargoyle alien who’s on the run from a malignant cult. That’s it, really, I just ran out of interest when I wanted to add some more personality to him rather than just being flirty, which I now regret due to some personal reasons that disrupted any more development on him. TL;DR, just give Nox more personality and all that jazz!
PainterFight Doing #2. I don’t know much about River so this advice will be pretty vague and not super specific.
Siblings can get into fights over really petty things. So think about what each one could do that could potentially annoy the other. When developing their personalities, I’d recommend making them clash if your intention is to get them to quarrel a lot. Like maybe Sharon likes to listen to loud rock music in his room when he writes songs. But River works best with a quiet environment so Sharon’s music disturbs her and the two can quarrel over that. Maybe one of them likes to take too long in the bathroom getting ready so the other gets mad, maybe one of them has a habit of eating the other’s leftovers, maybe one of them brings their friends over and it bothers the other. There’s lots of potential ways you can inject discourse between them. But the best way is making sure they have contrasting personalities and habits that inconvenience the other, those will be the most effective things.
If you want a bigger quarrel then maybe the two can have idealogical differences or include some big drama that would tear a rift in their sibling relationship.

1. I feel the breakdancer vibe, although I admit I don't know much about what's practical for the style. I'd maybe try her out in a longer baggier outer instead of the cropped one she's got on, and maybe try out a hat (snapback or maybe a beanie) or tying her hair up in a ponytail
2. I honestly really like the blue better! I think it breaks up all the warm gold tones from the hair, glasses frames, and necklace :) Wonder how blue with the pineapple/citrus would look? I stand by liking the blue but the pink flowers do give a bit of spongebob vibes as is lol

I offer cuckoos, magpies (a bit overdone but cool Noah's arc story), and woodpeckers (omens of death, maybe northern sooty, lewis, or puerto rican))

ic is meant to have six "brothers-" fellow war demons- but i can only think of three types of war, lol. i have spiteful, emotionally driven war for ic, slow tactical war for "the soldier", and nuclear war for "little boy". i need uh, other types of war, up to four!

-he could have some sort of specialty that has yet to be common in the modern world. Think of maybe an engineer ahead of his years- so smart modern tech cannot keep up? kinda similar to an dnd artificer of sorts, while others focus on their own powers, he has none, thus a heavy reliance on tech could be very effective in heavy magic world! If you want him to come out with a big bang, I fell that’s that’s effective for a big bad!
-a sort of magician? Hear me out on this, instead of pure heavy tech, we have a focus on illusions and mystery. Kinda how you mentioned you wanted him to be stealthy, a magicians trick could easily stun and confuse people who have magic, but may not able to be as easily replicated, making them have a false sense of fear. The only thing with this is I’m not sure how you want his story to pan out - if your option are for an underdog villain or ’old rival/friend‘ this would be sick!

they seems like a really tough and strong guy. very dedicated to their job with very little time for cavorting about and other frivolous fun. probably born for the sole purpose of being the royal assassin and nothing else. i don't think they have much concept of fun. but i like the idea that they have a very specific thing they find enjoyment in, something they can't do very often. even something simple like "they like pears" but can't eat them often (maybe they're given a very strict and minimal diet from whoever is their leader or caretaker, just enough that they can do their job.) maybe they sneak pears from whenever they go outside (i get the impression they're mostly holed up in the palace, away from other people generally. probably a lot of people that work in the palace that don't know they're even there.)
that scar that they have, i think it came from when they were training when they were very young and inexperienced. and they've worn that mask this whole time just to cover it up. or maybe the mask was given to them, and they were told to wear it?

Not gonna lie, I feel like Chiho might be into reading! Maybe he could be a bit of a manga junkie, reading his favorite slice-of-life or action-oriented series, or a more intellegent type of a reader, like reading encyclopedias! Maybe he's also into catching bugs too. Hmm. And maybe he just wants friends who knows more about his interests as well!

I know not a lot of people here know about Cardfight!! Vanguard, but I just want a little help for a fancharacter of it here.
For context, IC here is a experienced cardfighter (term for someone who plays the titular cardgame in the show) who one day lost a match to this guy, which puts Saizo into a grudge against him ever since. Now how do I try and expand that? Do I make Saizo plan a revenge against the guy who he lost to or something?
