This is a question game specifically for talking about characters' physical appearances. Their outfit? Their hairstyle? Their scars? An accessory they always wear or a sword they always carry? You get the idea.

To help clarify what kinds of questions are allowed in this game, I've made a list of correct and incorrect examples! Hopefully this should help out anyone who's stuck thinking of a question!
Format example:
Person 1's post: Why does Spike have a necklace of house keys? Edit: Adder got the scar during a criminal job that went a little wrong.
Person 2's post: Where did Adder get that scar from?
You can post IC if you want the next person to question a specific character, or you can post OOC and let them pick for themselves. If you post IC, try to stick to characters that have something noteworthy in their designs - while there's nothing wrong with more plain characters, it can be hard to think of an interesting question about them.
-Rules-
1. Stick to the theme of the game. Your post must include at least one question related to the character's design. You are allowed to ask non-design questions as extras.
2. Don't be rude or passive-aggressive towards other people or their characters in any way.
3. Wait for at least 3 people to post before you go again (unless over 12 hours have passed since the last post, then it's fair game for anyone).
4. All characters must have at least one, SFW art piece. This means characters with no art, or only 18+/filtered art, cannot be posted. You are allowed to skip people if they have no art or only 18+/filtered art.
5. Please do not post the same character repeatedly. This is to lessen repetition of the game.
6. Do not skip people (unless they're breaking Rule 4). Even if the above user has blocked you, that is not valid reason for skipping them.
I actively monitor the thread for rule-breaking, but if you think I missed something, please PM me and let me know.
If you break rules: Depending on the severity of the situation, I may either PM you with a warning or immediately ban you from the game. Regardless of severity, you can be banned if you repeatedly break rules.

Any character is fine, but maybe not Herutaz' eye thing and ooze - those already came up.
Yeah, his uniforms rarely survive more than a few months in decent condition; getting a new one every time would be expensive and time-consuming. Besides, he's a civilian captain and it's just a work uniform, so as long as it looks reasonably orderly and well maintained from a distance, nobody really cares anyway.
Absalom - Why does he always get his uniforms patched/repaired instead of simply getting new ones made? Do they just get damaged so frequently that it would be pointless to get new ones all the time?
Ally is a street cat, and has never had a long-term home. As such, she's had a pretty rough life surviving by herself on the streets. Many of her 'scars' are actually just chunks of fur that have fallen out due to poor health, while others were inflicted by fights or accidents.
RadiantRaindragon how come Ally has so many scars?
Pip's skin is wood technically. Her skin is wood, and textured like wood, but kinda flimsy, and piercable. Kinda like really, really tough skin, as she is hollow technically. She doesn't have organs at all, all the relative insides that normal beings have like bones and stuff aren't there, but instead replaced with magic matter based around her goddess origin, which is able to convert any nutritional substance/food into magic if she somehow loses her goddess rank, otherwise it replenishes itself on its own.

Dream has long eyelashes bc I was trying to think of things associated to dreams that i could put into her design. Some reason i took some inspiration from butterflies or something? I've seen people use eyelashes like that for butterflies before and whoo butterflies. Also my mum has some kind of thing around butterflies and she loves them lmao, whenever they come into our conservatory she will always catch them to set them free so they wont die in there.
is pip like actually made of wood, or are just the branches wood, or is just their skin wood and they still have like organs n stuff
@BeeQueen158 Is there a particular reason for Dream'svery long eyelashes ? I'm genuinely curious as I don't reckon having seen any character with such long eyelashes ! (and tbh I like that feature ♥)

I'm really curious about Null's helmet displaying emoticons and "faces" on the visor, I see on the arts it shows ":3c" and ">:3c" but does it show actual emojis like 
or anything related to zir mood ?
@Deerdad Aurie's crown is an actual crown he puts on his head, even though it's mainly made of flying particles. Sometimes he chooses not to wear it (but this is related to his backstory which isn't written yet)

Are those things shown on Aurie's hair a crown he physically puts on, or are they part of him, like something that grows on him (in the same way some characters have plants on their heads or smth like that)?
Taehyung keeps his hair like that as a way to hide, so to speak! He's partially blind and hates the color of his eyes, so he generally hides them behind his hair to avoid people staring and asking questions. It does block his vision quite a bit, but he couldn't see well to begin with.
As for Dearil, he's partially skeletal as a way to show that he's well.. dead. That may not make much sense, but there's not really much reasoning behind it besides that. If he looked like just your regular elk - which he wouldn't, because of his antlers - it wouldn't strike people who see him as tragic. He's the last of his kind, and so he needs to seem... depressing. As for the leaves, they're real! He tends to just lay there in the forest, which means leaves fall on him and sometimes end up staying there.
As for his sight, he sees things kind of inverted? It's mostly just blacks, whites, and some shades of bright blue

About Taeyhung - Why do they choose to keep their hair in that style? Does it limit their vision?
About Dearil - Why does his physical form appear only partially skeletal, rather than fully skeletal like his head/skull? Is he able to see, despite not having eyes? And are those dead leaves on him real leaves or just markings?
Well, back in Sheldon's early days, he wasn't a werewolf. Instead, he was a dragon creature which was based on several different insects, like a dragonfly and a bumblebee. So I guess when I revamped him, I also wanted his beast form to be a mix of different species. As for why those specific animals, I think I was trying to edge towards a slightly more 'cute' look for his wolf form. I ended up giving him cat whiskers and rounded bear-like ears to make him look more soft and harmless. (Wolves on their own, while cool-looking, aren't particularly cute.) Also, as he's a werewolf, I wanted him to look a bit 'odd' - I didn't want him to just look like a regular animal.

ok theres like Lore abt this that i didnt write down but basically in this world (the one the tbn character and wup r in) object head robots have taken over and humans r like basically slaves and this character is disguising themself as an object head with a cardboard box they cut and painted and a scarf so no one sees their neck. i havent decided specifically why yet but yknow i dont rlly think anyone wants to have to do a bunch of labor intensive work for some robots yknow. also thats why theyre so nervous bc yknow they dont wanna b caught
Vaughn In regards to Claudia's flower. Is it a particular species or a general design and if it is specific kind what was your reasoning behind choosing it?
It's mostly a form of compulsion on his part that's been ingrained in him since he was younger. While it does add to a sense of respectability and he acknowledges that? The biggest reason is that it was basically drilled into him as early as he can remember to look his best by various forces in his life. Basic from an early age he was taught and told to dress formally and over the years it is more sense of habit than anything else. To him a pair of dress pants and a button up shirt would be equal to a T-shirt and jeans for anyone else. After so long a part of him does kind of like it but he often feels limited since men's fashion can be a bit limiting, and such constantly in need of improvement which causes him to constantly preen and primp, in that regard and yeah he dresses as best he can even in private because his compulsion has sort of permeated his entire outlook when it comes to his wardrobe.
For Archer: Does he dress so formally because of his job/the 'respectable' role he's played as a foil to his brother/father's criminal mess/other outside forces, or does he just like to look crisp af? Does he dress like that even on his days off?

Honestly, Kayto is the result of me wondering what the worst possible Hawke(Dragon Age 2 protagonist) would be like? And Dragon age as an entity can not make a character creator without face tattoos so of course she has one(it's not the one she had in game, but still an homage to it).
The design I went with kinda-vaguely draws on the Eye of Horus, partly because of the association with the sun/gold, partly because me like a swirly thing. Plus it's often a symbol of protection/protection beyond death, which I feel like suits Kayto's desires atm, seeing as she's run away to seek refuge from a head-eating demon she pissed off
When you were designing Thallium, what was the first thing you started from? Like did you have a specific feature for his design that you thought of first, like his hair style or something similar? Also, what do you consider the most crucial part of his design, and why?

If a human were to come up to him and place down sushi for him, what would he do?
He'd just eat that, it's not like it's made of his own people or anything & fish is a natural part of merpeople's diet anyway! I also don't think he'd realize if someone tried to offer him sushi out of malice / thinking it'd get a reaction out of him
What do his good dreams look like?
He has friends in them, and perhaps Huey is alive too
What made you design the horns like that?
His horns are imitating the horns of his vetehi parents! They're literally just twigs and not real horns haha

Nobody in particular? His hair is long simply because nobody ever really bothered to cut it side from his front locks so he could see + long hair is good when you're attracting people

Personaly, I think his caller is more important then his glasses. Even tho he needs them to see- oof
It shows that- even tho hes a doctor and sometimes he can switch from nervous to 'the big bad doctor', hes a a level down from SOMEONE.
Like- that hes always gonna be below someone, and always gonna strive to be someone 'obedient'
