General Thread for PSAs

Hello!

8/9: New PSA added.

5/14: 2 new PSAs added.

4/8: New PSA posted and additional information on Squidribs added to relevant PSA.

It was suggested that there should perhaps be a general thread for PSAs which is a fine idea. A place that links to other PSAs and keep things organized.
You can link your threads/PSAs/etc, and I'll add them to the posts. :D
Please Note: I can only accept public PSAs. Anon PSAs are too much of a risk to accept, as they can be open to slander.

Things That Count for PSAs!
-Scams
-Illegally chargebacked (you did a commission, but person claims you never did, for instance)
-Being shifty on doing owed things (taking months on an icon for example, lack of contact or updates, etc)
-Tracing and profiting off of it...
-Etc...

Things That Don't Count!
-Someone has better art than you
-Rude behavior
-Subjective issues
-Dog ate your homework

Obviously, this is just the basic frame work. Each case is different. For instance, someone could go around harassing artists for art and customs, or for people to give up their adopts and whatnot, and that could almost certainly be considered for a PSA...

Of course, it would be great if no more PSAs occur, but in the case they do, I support people posting them because they keep the community safe and will link to them in this general thread. owo/

There'll be two posts, one for PSAs and one for resolved cases! ^^

Adalana Honestly, it may be a good idea to message person A and confront them about the unfair sale. If they understand you may be able to get them to refund person b and get the design back.

Hey guys, I'd appreciate it if you could read this PSA I wrote. This kid has been known to steal other's work and sell/trade it and was previously banned but is now back under a new name.

Update: Staff closed their account. (Even if the account is closed, keep on the look-out for them coming back. There are also other artists/artist's work that need to be verified)

BaraDad No choice but to confront them first about it, and if they block you or refuse to stop, you should make a PSA to warn others so they don't profit from the theft.

BaraDad Depending on what is exactly traced, you might want to personally contact them but if you feel the tracing/reflection of other's work is obvious and unfair to other artists- I would personally make a PSA.

For myself, I have an issue with someone who refuses to finish their side of an art trade. Do art trades even become PSA worthy? I mean, these people take advantage of your time and effort/skill and just run away with it- leavintg me with nothing to show for it. Do people make PSA's about these things? To me, it's basically stealing.

Witches An Artist Beware is a good idea- but in my opinion- if you've already done your part of the trade and got nothing in return- it's as good as stealing/scamming. Time is money. I appreciate that you agree. ^^
