The Past
This takes place several years before MK is born. Focuses on Fang returning to Megapolis to deal with a problem, as well as eventually facing her father after 10 years of silence between each other.
The Switcheroo Incident
they're hanging out and happen to wanna go catch a movie but decide to cut through the market on the way there. Fang gets side-tracked with a mysterious trinket seller and they ultimately end up looking into a mirror together which in turn body swap them. But by the time they look back towards the seller in hopes of getting them to swap them back, they're gone, with nothing but the mirror left in their hands. >:3 Shenanigans ensue in Red having to ensure a movie night with dad, and Fang an awkward talk with Red's mom in regards of plans of a very formal party they plan on attending soon. I think in the end the only way to get the mirror to work to switch them back would be for them to come to an understanding of each other and their lives. (Either that or track down the seller and beat the snot out of him until he changes them back. Probably the latter actually. But secretly they do end up doing just that without telling each other. Lmao.)
Also figured maybe Red would try to sneak them both into his hideout in an attempt to figure out what the item is and what to do. Gives Fang a chance to see his place. Lol
Red Son gets to snoop around Fang's things and gets his hands on her journal and gains a new understanding of how she really feels about him.
Meanwhile Fang gets an idea of what Red's life is like, as well as some shenanigans with his scrapped bullclones, somehow getting two discarded one's to work again and dubbing them Fritz (for their finicky circuitry) and Bullhorn (for his missing horn) and even slaps some stickers on them so she can tell the difference between them easier. Seeing as both display a bit of strange personalities. She also catches a glimpse of the plans he'd been working on in order to free his father, putting her in a bit of a tough spot.
In the end they manage to get back together and get each other back into their own bodies.
