My favorite color is blue! Sky blue, specifically, but I'm in love with all of the shades. It's been my favorite color for a couple years now. I'm not exactly sure why it's my favorite, but something about it makes it special to me. A lot of my favorite things are blue, or have blue on them, such as bee hummingbirds, my favorite painting, Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh, and usual depictions of the night sky. Blue symbolizes depth, stability, trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth, tranquility, and calmness, and I feel like a lot of those words both describe me currently and what I want to be in life. Overall it's a very soothing color that almost always manages to cheer me up when I see it. Fun fact! Blue is the rarest color found naturally on animals, and most of the time when it is found, it's an illusion to the human eye. It's a trick of the light found on a microscopic level, there's not actually any blue pigment there. There's only one species of butterfly that can make blue pigment, and they're called olive wings.
