For all of the Tribes, there's a very clear hierarchy. In order of highest ranking to lowest ranking, there's the Leader, the Advisor, the Healer, the Deputy, the Warriors, the Apprentices, the Queens, the Elders, and the Kits. Some Tribes have also included different roles. The Tribe of Pouring Rain has a ranking for Mages, since their Tribe is the most heavily involved with the magics of the forest. The Tribe of Clear Skies has the Warrior rank split up into two sections, the Diggers, and the Hunters. Both of these ranks are taught the same fighting moves, and the basics of how to defend yourself, however the Diggers are more specialized for digging, since their home is underground. The Hunters are lean and quick, and race around the moor, catching rabbits. The Tribe of Frozen Fields have a group of Warriors called the Fishers. The Fishers are responsible for catching fish through holes in the ice. They don't have very many of these though, as nobody really wants to volunteer to swim in frozen water. However, since there's not that much prey out and about, they have to adapt. Which is why they also have a Forager rank. These cats go out into the forest and gather up what berries and edible plants they can. These plants are inspected by the Healer, and if deemed safe to eat, will be added to the prey pile. The Tribe of Jagged Lightning has a group called the Caretakers. These cats are responsible for taking care of the heavily pregnant queens and the elders.
