Different duties of the territories


Farming territory:
Harvests plant fibers for a variety of uses, such as garments, tools or fish netting.
Helps create housing and shelter for tribe members all across the isle.
Focuses heavily on researching insects, critters and plants across the island. It is an honor within the farming territory to assist with studies.
Farming territory sends out travelers to the other tribe hubs (or close to the poison hub) to deliver crops, shrooms, items, and medicines.
Collaborates in trade with the fishing territory to obtain fertilizer for crops and shrooms.
Creates safe, drinkable water for tribe members by boiling collected water inland or filtering collected rain water.


Fishing territory:
Take care of seafood / clam nurseries in the piers for fishing to keep the water clean.
Partial ambassadors to Cliffscape for trade, and ambassadors for any strangers that may accidentally end up at Wishira island.
Hard working shroomites look after the sacred bones of the island.
Assist any member of Wishira wanting to leave the island, helps take them to mainland by boat.


Poison territory:
Carefully cultivated, a poison territory member can make rare medicines out of very toxic shrooms.
Poison territory takes security a lot stricter, so they have good security in case outsiders come in.
Some specific poison immune members have golden/special metal or stone blades to cut the shrooms in the poison forest with, because it's believed to purify.



Jobs and Roles

(Keep in mind, it's common for a Wishira toskal to have multiple jobs. Anything labelled with an asterisk '*' needs to be discussed with an admin if you want to develop a tribe member under that specific role.)

(*) Leader: A leader; they oversee their section of the island and keep the wellbeing of every member in check.

(*) High Elder: A previous leader, offers guidance to a current leader. They also assist a current leader on choosing an apprentice to replace their role.

(*) Royal Guard: A child of the leader in the inner most section of the island, in charge of protecting that leader.

(*) Botanical Artisan: Member who grows and harvests plants and mushrooms, especially interested in attempting to create new kinds of plants and mushrooms. They have the utmost extensive knowledge of almost all plants and fungi across the island.

Sacred Warden: A member in charge of guarding the sacred mushroom.

Recordkeeper: A member usually found within farming territory who writes down and archives important information, to keep safe in the skull cave.

Cultivator: A member who grows and harvests mushrooms.
Farmer: A member who grows and harvests crops.
Fisher: A member who catches fish, by baskets or by spear.
Alchemist: A member who concocts medicines or poisons.
Clothmaker: A member who creates different kinds of cloth by handweaving, using fibres from plants or fungi.
Clothcrafter: A member who creates garments or items out of cloth.
Toolcrafter: A member who creates a variety of durable tools for members to use.
