They grow up so fast. He doesn't look a day over 40 trillion, and he certainly doesn't act like it either.
DAAAAAAAAAAAAADDYYYYYYYYYYYYY WHY CAN'T I CHOP UP MY FOES YOU'RE RUINING MY LIFE IT'S NOT A PHASE luv you, kisses~
I think you're the one that started this recent habit of taking in homeless children. How could I resist that sad little angsty kid? Plus he was the only person in trillions of years that finally got Isaac to come out of his shell.
I never knew my real father because he didn't want anything to do with me or my destiny. You're one of the few people that doesn't seem to think I'm a problem, even when I am. I know why you had to take me in, but I... well, I really appreciate that you actually want me around too.
Another poor orphan I seem to have taken in with free boarding. Joking aside, he's a sweet boy that deserves all the love and help we can give for all the heartache he's had to endure.
You have my eternal gratitude for all the care and love you and your employees have offered me over the years. I only wish I could be more useful to you in return.
One of my many students, young Lord Dalian seems to always get himself into trouble. Best to keep a close eye on that one for the sake of all of us. ^^;
JAAAAAAAAACK my awesome band teachaaaaaaaa
Boy oh boy, I have no idea why the Creator has slapped such a difficult fate onto you, but it's nothing we can't work out, kiddo.
Well, as long as you're around to make things run smoothly, I can't really complain. Just wish the process didn't have to be so damn painful. Also, I think it's kind of cruel to put written prophecies on the body of a blind person. If this stuff is going to make my life shitty, it would've at least been fair if I could read them myself.
Hooo boy, you know an elf is old when they actually start to look old. This guy's older than I am... which wouldn't surprise most people because I still look like someone trying too hard to be a unique twenty-something year old...
Hey kiddo. Yeah, I'm still not dead. Immortal means immortal after all. If I'm not going to die in glorious battle, then I'm not gonna die at all.
Dude, take a vacation or something.
Says the guy that doesn't sleep and has two copies to work more jobs.
Cyndy does well in her classes, including band. She's great with the flute, although she can be a little self conscious while playing, but she's got great technique. Now if only she'd learn to not get distracted whenever Billy plays...
I'll never not be embarrassed by the memory of being in a one-on-one tutoring session with Mr. Zilvas and him telling me to quit ogling Billy through the glass window of the practice room... *covers face*
He's a regular with looking for bounties, so he's always checking the lists around here. He always seems to miss Lamia when she checks the lists, and it would be hilarious if I didn't have to keep myself from laughing about it whenever either of them walk in.
Jack's always the best person to get job info from. Emdrica's the only place you really need to find decent bounties, but only the best get there first, since we all have the same idea.
Miss Valkiea is my favorite clarinet player, and that has nothing to do with her being my only clarinet player. She's the main reason we haven't been doing marching band these last few years...
I don't get it. Jack can teach me to dance while playing the clarinet without stabbing myself in the mouth, but the second I try to march, everyone dies. Figuratively speaking of course.
Darian's a natural at pretty much everything he picks up, and music is no exception. You should've seen how pouty and reluctant he was as a kid about learning to spontaneously break into a musical number at school. *snickers* I suppose a Gal is a perfect reason to play along though.
I don't question the musical numbers anymore. This school has broken me, and I'm one with the choreographed collective now. Thanks a lot, Jack.
Oh boy, another excitable elemental, this time from Onakaiya.
Ooo, I should learn to play an instrument so I can have band class with this rad teacher.
I knew coming up with all those drinks that include potatoes would come in handy some day.
Thank Lord Dalia that Jack is already experienced at taking care of weird homeless kids, otherwise Gage wouldn't have anyone to dump me off on for the occasional too-short break from my pestering. ;P
Gage is welcome to stay here whenever he wants, and although he travels a lot, he doesn't have to worry about not having a place to stay permanently if needed. Poor guy deserves more than fate has dished out for him... Hope he sticks around Xel, both to keep the kid from getting himself killed and also to keep his own chin up.
I'm thankful for the help Jack has given me throughout the years. Trevor told me he'd take good care of me, and although I still don't know how they knew each other, he wasn't wrong...
Ah, the more troubled Lord Dalian out of the bunch. Good kid, very bright. Very curious how his Soul Prism got so compromised...
Why the hell didn't anyone tell me there was a magic school in the next city over to explain the weird crystal nonsense in my shoulder that ate my sister's soul? WHY???
Looks like Anamoli wanted to go to school this lifetime. I guess it's been a while.
Ooo, Jack's just as exciting as I remember.
Angel's pretty good with playing that trombone, but she has got to stop using that case as a battering ram.
Aw, but these people usually deserve it, Sir.
I remember he used to hang around the Marquette with Spite quite a bit, but he disappeared for a few years. Guess he got drafted by the Enlightened, but looks like he found a nice sweetheart while there.
Gez' Exodus an' ah r'gunna stay 'n Emdr'ca fer awhile. Prob'ly gunna see alotta Jack den.
Looks like Reba has a cousin, and she's got just as much of a chip on her shoulders too. Gost rifting and troubled lives seem to run in the family... But I'm sure we can help her get a handle on her rifting at least.
I've never liked school. Always been a problem child. But I guess if this school can help get my rifting under control, I should at least try to play along.
Austin always had a lot of energy, and he was certainly exciting to be around. He seemed to cope with Adrian's death better, but he still was never quite the same.
Adrian and Caleb tended to stick around Lord Dalia's Court most often, but I ended up being a little more like Jack and just wanted to see everything the Eternity had to offer.
Ah, Adrian was a sweet boy. He was taken from us far too soon.
Jack was always the enthusiastic type, but things changed after what happened to him and Vi. It hurt to see his future would have such slow healing.
Bunny's such a bright little kid. She's got enough brains for anyone around here. Just gotta make sure she stays safe with all these teenagers stomping around...
Jack's a fun teacher~ Band is always exciting, if not a little crazy.
Caleb was such a delicate sweetheart... But losing Adrian broke him, and he just never recovered. Living to see the aftermath of so many tragedies like this makes me wonder how I manage to stay so optimistic sometimes.
Jack always sounded so upbeat and full of energy, I suppose it shouldn't have surprised me that he looks as animated as he acted.
She can be a rather troublesome student at times, but we all have to work out our frustrations somehow. You should see how angrily she can play the flute.
I almost wish I sucked at playing flute, because I fucking hate the flute. It sounds obnoxious, and it's an instrument for fucking pussies. But dammit, Jack even got me to be really good at it.
