ABOUT
"Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly."
Known for her air of austerity, Adria is a gruff, cynical woman holding an overall bleak outlook on life. In spite of her guarded, brooding exterior, she shows a more easygoing, compassionate side around the people her trusts, appearing markedly less unsociable and distant, though still retaining her dry candidness. Even as her inner darkness festers deep within her and its temptation becomes increasingly harder to resist, she retains her empathy and compassion, refusing to discard her humanity. There was a time where the female was largely self-centered and anti-social, indifferent to the suffering of others and detesting those whom she deems weak. Her reclusive nature and hostility toward those attempting to connect with her stem from a fear of creating new emotional attachments and whatever occurred between her and her ex-husband. She was forced to abandon that side of her when she became head of the rescue division. She was forced to cease her solitary struggle and solicits the help of those who worked under her, slowly fostering new companionship with them and the other heads.
DESIGN
Design Notes
- Underneath her hat is a mess of feathers that resembled the feathers found on the back of a Mandibuzz's head.
- Her feet are a slight blend between both of her species that make up her DNA.
- She tends to keep her Black Glassses attached to her hat and tend to slide them down during battle.
- Occasionally, she is seen wearing a golden ring attached to a necklace.
BACKGROUND
THE STORY OF A LONELY CROW
Becoming the Head of Rescue Division is no easy feat. It involve going though quite a bit of trials and tribulations as a means to even receive the opportunity to take the tests set up for those willing to take that position. One has to carry great knowledge in the best methods of saving others and avoiding making a situation potentially worse. Not only that but one has to carry medical knowledge in case the victim is injured and connection to allow them to be transferred to safe location. Adria is one of the lucky guys to take over the position after the previous Head of the Rescue Division [Audino named Velvet] announced Adria would be taken over her position as her successor.
Born to a Mandibuzz and Honchkrow, Adria's life hasn't been one of the best in the world, given her nature as a hybrid. While hybrids aren't treated with a level of hesitancy like Bestias, it's certainly not out of a question that they were jabbed for being a oddity. In fact, in the area that Adria was raise with, she was seen as being a "freak". However, Adria didn't let this bring her down. She used it as a form of strength that allowed her to work her way into the Union. The woman managed to build quite a reputation for herself with how efficient she was. It was something that Velvet took note of and eventually brought her under her wing to train her. After a series of tests that Velvet would give to Adria in the later years, the Audino would transfer her power to Adria after her success. Adria was joyous of this and spent her time doing all she can to build up her new department. Her happiness would continue until her partner Everett left her after causing the death of a important figure his team was supposed to protect. He left her while she only came to realization she was pregnant and she was celebrating her decade long time as the head of her department. Needless to say, she's been very bitter about it.

TRIVIA
- It was only until recently that I decided to make her pregnant and use that as a means to build her character.
- If she had a canon voice, she would sound like this.
- Adria was originally planned to be the head of the Union before I ended up expanding the nature of the Union and shifting her position in it.
- She is one of the few hybrid Pokemon that is apart of the Union, which gave me some ideas of how others tend to react to her.
