“A hunter’s meal is in proportion to his skill.”
When you first meet Sirius, you will notice how sadistic and twisted he can be. If you ask him for a fight, he will do everything in his power not to hold back against you as a means to push you into using all your strength. He often cruelly taunts his opponents during battle as a means to make them break their focus long enough to achieve victory. It's no secret that he can be extremely egotistical both in and out of matches to the point he has high level of pride. Coming from a family where he was forced to fight to survive, he has a good reason to carry the mindset of being a true winner in life. He takes a great pride in his intelligence and fighting prowess skills, and hates when people look down on him due to his species. He carries a softer side that he shows around his partners, where he displays a level of docility and kindness when accepting his affection. He will never raise his voice at Fairlight and Ramuh, acknowledging that they can easily take him down if he's not careful. Overall, when he's not being sadistic and cold, he tends to have a neutral demeanor and rarely react to most things emotionally, citing that doing so gets in a way of a successful hunt.
DESIGN
Design Notes
- He is missing the chest spike that Lucario are known to have with a much more buffier frame compared to those of that line.
- He has turf of fur on top of his head that gives him the appearance of him having "hair" much like a human.
- The black appendages found on the back of Sirius head are often pinned in a ponytail. This becomes undone when he slips into his feral form.

BACKGROUND
THE STORY OF THE CURSED HOUND
Becoming the Head of Hunter Division is no easy feat. It involve going though quite a bit of trials and tribulations as a means to even receive the opportunity to take the tests set up for those willing to take that position. It was no secret that you had to carry a certain level of tolerance to killing to be considered and be skilled enough that you can somewhat handle your own against the Boss of the Union. That and frankly death itself is something that you find yourself being unfazed by, given what you have to deal with on the daily basis. Sirius was one of the lucky Bestias to receive the opportunity to take over the position after the previous Head of the Hunting Division [Decidueye named Nightstalker] announced Sirius would be his successor.
The son of two Lucario Bestias, Sirius had to deal with his fair share of prejudice as a result of his Bestia blood. It was much trickier for him for his family to hide that side of him due to his markings. As such, many became very wary of him to the point he just stopped bothering to socialize with others. He just focused his attention on his training and his eventual duties as a hunter for the Union's Hunter Division. His efforts would reward him the attention of Nightstalker. Nightstalker would make note of the number of Pokémon he eliminated and his rate of success. At seeing his skill, he would eventually offer the Pokémon the chance to take over. At first, Sirius wasn't interested until Nightstalker informed him of his ability to train the next up and coming hunters with his influence. How could he say no?

Moveset
- Meteor Mash: The target is hit with a hard punch fired like a meteor. This may also boost the user’s Attack stat. (Learned Naturally)
- Swords Dance: A frenetic dance to uplift the fighting spirit. This sharply boosts the user's Attack stat. (Learned Naturally)
- Drain Punch: The user attacks with an energy-draining punch. The user's HP is restored by up to half the damage taken by the target. (Learned From Hitmonchan)
- Ice Punch: The target is attacked with an icy punch. This may also leave the target frozen. (Learned From Hitmonchan)
- Extremespeed: The user charges the target at blinding speed. This move always goes first. (Learned Naturally)
- Earthquake: The user sets off an earthquake that strikes every Pokémon around it. (Learned From Technical Machine)
TRIVIA
- Sirius was partially based off Mary from Kakegurui. In fact, his dynamic with Fairlight is meant to mimic that.
- I originally planned on shipping Sirius with Lewis and Ronin but decided against that since the dynamic I found Lewis and and Ronin to be find the way it is.
- If he had a canon voice, he would sound like this.
- He will be the first Union Chief outside of Fairlight that Ronin and Lewis work under together.
