"What new technology does is create new opportunities to do a job that customers want done."
Cephas is calm, intelligent, and somewhat charismatic, as they seem to be a born leader and able to hold their division despite the arguments that occur within it. While they are a very capable strategist, Cephas is also very confident in their own fighting abilities. Unflinching and unshakable, they are also an observer of humanity within Pokémon. Oftentimes, you can hear Cephas expressing their murmuring of their fascination for the inner workings of Pokémon. Perhaps it's due to the fact they originated from a timeline where Pokémon function much differently that often lead to them wanting to pull apart why they act the way they do. Cephas shows no fear of their own death, even anticipating it. Then again, it's hard for them to truly die as they are capable of rebuilding their body as long as their memory remain intact. However, they can be largely protective of those they see as their family as they lack the same abilities they have to rebuild themselves. Much like some Union heads, Cephas is cold-blooded and not above committing murder if they're ordered to do so by Fairlight.
DESIGN
Design Notes
- The face mask covering their mouth is there to hide away the damage left behind from their previous attempts to forge a visible mouth.
- Compared to those of their lines, they appeared to be a lot more studier as noted by how thicker their neck is.
- The pink coloration of their body is capable shifting into different hues based on whatever emotion they feel.
- Whenever Cephas is asleep, the colors of their body dims completely and their eyes become completely black in color.
BACKGROUND
THE STORY OF A REBORN MACHINE
Becoming the Head of Technology Division is no easy feat. It involve going though quite a bit of trials and tribulations as a means to even receive the opportunity to take the tests set up for those willing to take that position. It's no surprise that those of this position need to have a deep knowledge when it comes to technology as it still holds its own despite the presence of magic. Not only that but those of this division must be able to ensure that technology is able to work together and even keep up with magic to ensure it doesn't end up falling behind in the times. Cephas is one of the lucky guys to receive the opportunity to take over the position after the previous Head of the Technology Division [Metagross named Xander] announced Cephas would be taken over his position as his successor.
The concept of timelines is not a new thing. For every decision you make, a new one is born and eventually a separate universe is crafted from it. Cephas came from a timeline where Pokémon were forged into machines. Once a Gallade that was a soldier from a futuristic war, a explosion occurred that sent this Pokémon into a new timeline with a broken body. Through the hands of God of Innovation and Industry, they were reborn into a Iron Valiant with their memories blocked off. Xander would take them under their wing and help them adapt to this new world. Eventually, they would pass the position of Head of the Technology Division to him after Cephas shown their ability to be ensure that technology is able to grow. Now, they stand as the head of the division while being assisted by the various gods of technology.

Moveset
- Psycho Cut: The user tears at the target with blades formed by psychic power. This move has a heightened chance of landing a critical hit. (Learned Naturally)
- Spirit Break: A frenetic dance to uplift the fighting spirit. This sharply boosts the user's Attack stat. (Learned Naturally)
- Knock Off: The user slaps down the target's held item, making it unusable for that battle. This move does more damage if the target has a held item. (Learned Naturally)
- Ice Punch: The target is attacked with an icy punch. This may also leave the target frozen. (Learned From Hitmonchan)
- Swords Dance: A frenetic dance to uplift the fighting spirit. This sharply boosts the user's Attack stat. (Learned From Technical Machine)
- Drain Punch: The user attacks with an energy-draining punch. The user's HP is restored by up to half the damage taken by the target. (Learned From Memory)
TRIVIA
- If they had a canon voice, they would sound like this.
- Cephas was planned to be a Metagross. However, I decided against it after playing around with the idea of using Iron Valiant.
- I went though several ideas of what I wanted Cephas' backstory to before settling on the one you will be seeing in their story.
- Cephas was tricky when it came to figuring out what design I wanted for them.
