ABOUT
“A single rose can be my garden; a single friend, my world.”
Garran often expresses little in the way of emotion or affection, resulting in him often being deadpan when it comes to his responses. When first meeting him, you will often find that he can be quite stubborn and headstrong with the tendency to approach things in a pragmatic manner. Most of the time, he prefers to act alone to solve personal matters and can often be snarky and dismissive towards most Pokémon. Despite his icy demeanor, Garran appears to be something of a philosopher. He often muses about the nature of Pokémon and their reaction to conflict. He finds himself reflecting on the nature of ferals and how they ended up being what they are. Garran does express genuine kindness towards others, in rare cases. This can be seen through his interactions with Cephas, Fairlight and Raiden. He allows them to confide in him and actively listens to their thoughts and concerns while providing his own share of commentary on the manner. Every once in the while, he may even shows something of a more playful side towards them, often making the occasional dad joke here and there or being overly goofy to the point it often comes off as being strange to others.
DESIGN
Design Notes
- He has two major scars. One is found acoss his right eye and the other is found across his back. Both stem from his encounter with a Scythr.
- The flower around his neck takes the form of a rose with the vines he release from it being the same color as the flower.
- His antennae are noticeably thicker and longer than those of his line.
- He is commonly seen carrying around a much larger verson of the berry pouch that take the form of a messenger bag.
BACKGROUND
THE STORY OF A GRAND DINOSAUR
Becoming the Head of Feral Division is no easy feat. It involve going though quite a bit of trials and tribulations as a means to even receive the opportunity to take the tests set up for those willing to take that position. It was no secret that you had to carry a certain level of skill when it comes to the training and handling of Ferals as they have the potential of causing severe harm to the public. Not only that but one often has to go into medical training as a means to carry a deeper understanding of the subspecies. Garran was one of the lucky guys to receive the opportunity to take over the position after the previous Head of the Feral Division [Mr. Rime named Jester] announced Garran would be taken over his position.
Born to two Meganium, Garran's life hasn't been the most special in the world. For most of his time as a young adult, he spent his time studying ferals (as they fascinated him) while balancing spending time working as a member of the Hunting Division of the Union. His almost infinite knowledge of ferals alongside his knack of being able to calm them down caught the eye of Jester. It took years of prodding and various deals for Jester to convince Garran to even consider the idea of taking over his position as Garran wasn't quite interested in being the head of the department since he felt it was too much work. Now Garran spends his time dropping by Feral Centers while checking and noting the status of most ferals there without a care in a world.

Moveset
- Swords Dance: A frenetic dance to uplift the fighting spirit. This sharply boosts the user's Attack stat. (Learned From Technical Machine)
- Earthquake: The user sets off an earthquake that strikes every Pokémon around it. (Learned From Technical Machine)
- Petal Blizzard: The user stirs up a violent petal blizzard and damages everything around it. (Learned Naturally)
- Tera Blast [Water]: If the user has Terastallized, it unleashes energy of its Tera Type. This move inflicts damage using the Attack or Sp. Atk stat—whichever is higher for the user. (Learned From Technical Machine)
- Dragon Tail: The target is knocked away, and a different Pokémon is dragged out. In the wild, this ends a battle against a single Pokémon. (Learned From Garchomp)
- Natural Gift: The user draws power to attack by using its held Berry. The Berry determines the move's type and power. (Learned From Technical Machine)
TRIVIA
- If Garran had a canon voice, he would sound like this.
- His personality is partially based on C.C from Code Geass.
- Garran is a character that I had for years that I recently decided to update after stumbling upon his design again.
- It took a bit to work out the moveset I wanted for Garran as I wasn't quite sure how to build a moveset for a Meganium.
