ABOUT
"Building capacity dissolves differences. It irons out inequalities."
Despite how quiet Raine can be, the Mimikyu stands out as a polite, gentlemanlike and sincere Pokemon. While they may care deeply for their goods and things they craft, the safety and well-being of others is often Raine's highest priority espesically when it comes to those who work under them. Raine learned at a young age that vengeance begets vengeance, and avoids creating situations of conflict as much as possible. If they have to fight, they will if if means that it's helping the ones that they worrywart. However, it's not uncommon to see that they snap at anyone who dares to make fun of whatever thing they are making. Due to their upbringing, Raine has grown to hide their emotions up his sleeve, often disguising their true nature behind a façade of naivety. When dropping their act and becoming serious, Raine holds a calculating and careful presence to them. They becomes cold and emotionless, justifying their less moral acts through the means of protecting those they cares for. Very few are actually allowed to see what's underneath the cloth that they are constantly seen under. The few who do often complain about having nightmares about it for months.
DESIGN
Design Notes
- New different pieces of fabrics can be seen on the cloth that covers their body.
- They often wear a blacksmith apron whenever they are working on crafting something. Yes, there are holes for their actual eyes.
- Raine has around four arms with one commonly being out and about.
- They do possess several other different costumes of various Pokemon with most being that of other Pikaclones.
BACKGROUND
THE STORY OF A STITCHED CRAFTSMAN
Becoming the Head of Craft Division is no easy feat. It involve going though quite a bit of trials and tribulations as a means to even receive the opportunity to take the tests set up for those willing to take that position. It was no secret that you have to carry a certain level of skill when it comes to crafting various gear and extensive knowledge of what material can be used for. Not only that one often has to carry a knowledge when it comes to the trade system that exist in the world. Raine was one of the lucky Pokemon to receive the opportunity to take over the position after the previous Head of the Craft Division [Tinkaton named Titania] announced Raine would be her successor.
The Blackwaters Orphanage has been a place that Raine was acquainted with for the first five years of their life as that was the place their parents left their egg. However, they would be eventually adopted by Titania during what was supposed to be a quick repair of the AC the orphanage had. Most of Raine's life from that point on was spent learning the art of crafting and blacksmithing under the wing of Titania. Titania was less of a mother and more like a older sister figure to them. It was no secret to Raine that Titania was planning on eventually passing down her position to them. They were quite resourceful and knew what was needed for the craft division. Most knew to trust in the decisions of Raine as a result of that. As such, Titania was not surprised to see Raine would pass a test she laid out before them to repair the hammer that they spent decades making. It was that success that allowed Titania to trust Raine to be able to take over. Now Raine sits as the head of the craft division, primarily in their workshop while teaching new and old members their trips to making a well-crafted weapon.
RELATIONSHIPS
Raine scratch their chin with a shadowy hand. Raine doesn't have anything to complain about with their boss as he has been largely supportive of their work and receptive of their concerns.
The visible eyes seen underneath the false head on Raine's disguise perk up. You can see all the love and affection in their eyes that showed just how they were so happy to be with her.
Raine smiled with their eyes. They seemed pleased with working with Sirius. His division is great at testing the strength of the gear they make and offer great feedback for how to improve it.
Raine flashed a thumbs up of approval at the mention of Ramuh. Much like Sirius, his division is great at testing their division's products. At least when it comes to working out their durability.
At the question of how they feel about Garran, Raine shrugs. They like to help the Meganium out with a few things here and there. Other than that, they have a neutral relationship.
You get the impression that Raine is smiling. They enjoy listening to Shiva ramble about the little things in life. It's nice to be able to listen to someone talk about things outside of work.
"Ady was hurt badly. I don't really think people really understand how much that pain extends. I try my best to be there for Ady. I'm sure Everett would appreciate that. Oh Eve..."
Raine gestures over to the pile of materials that they have for Cephas. Raine isn't bothered by Cephas' attitude and always finds themselves curious about what they can do.
A shadowy hand stretch out underneath their cloth and gently pat the head of Soleli. Raine is quite fond of Soleli and regards the rabbit as being akin to that of a niece.
You feel a intense pressure against your chest as Raine stares deeply into your soul. The urge for you to flee grows strong as its shadow limbs spilled out from underneath its body.

- Leech Life: The user drains the target's blood. The user's HP is restored by up to half the damage taken by the target. (Learned From Technical Machine)
- Wood Hammer: The user slams its rugged body into the target to attack. This also damages the user quite a lot. (Learned Naturally)
TRIVIA
- Raine is meant to be a play off the gentle giant, only the gentle giant in this case is way smaller.
- Raine was originally going to be a Tinkaton, but I decided to go got the unexpected for the Craft Division.
- If Raine had a canon voice, it would sound like this.
- Designing Raine was a lot trickier than I thought since I wasn't quite sure what I was looking for in terms of their design.
